We used Surface with a smile to re-colour our kitchen when we were getting our house ready for sale. The result exceeded our expectations and we ended up with what looked like a new kitchen for a fraction of the price. From a peach coloured 90s look to a modern clean white theme - it is hard to overstate how tranformative the look was. Great advice (new door handles etc.) also made a differance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brett and his team to anyone looking to modernise their kitchen without breaking the bank!

Surface With a Smile resurfaced all of the kitchen cabinets, and replaced the handles. All of the team were great to deal with, good communication, reliable and helpful. The job was to remove the kitchen cabinet doors, repaint/respray and re-install them. From the initial consultation, to the completion of the job, we knew we were in good hands, as they were experienced, gave expert advice, and took care to finish the job to perfection.

A business well worth supporting though lockdown - we could provide a work bubble to reinstate the new fixtures and the crew used this time to do a great job. A 1930's batch remodelled in 1999 so a non-square base with a dated and worn cover - now looks like a new kitchen. Great finish quality. Fast and friendly with good communication through the whole process.

I called Surface with a Smile for advice on refurbishing my very tired, well used 22 year old designer kitchen.
Brett arrived on time and went through several options with me. He measured the kitchen, made some notes and quickly came back to me with a quote, which was very close to his on site "guesstimate". We discussed a couple of the options and I accepted his quote.
On the date Brett had given me to start, his team removed all the door and drawer fronts some of which were too damaged to repair. Unfortunately we were caught by the level 4 lockdown which delayed everything. However, as soon as we went to level 3 the kitchen was quickly finished and reinstalled.
It is very difficult to look at it and not believe that it is not a brand new kitchen.
It looks amazing! It is stunning in white, (was Denim Blue) and the new handles bring it right up to 2021.
They installed new kick boards and large panels surrounding the bar unit.
I retained my stainless steel bench tops.
I am very happy with every aspect of the service and product that I received from Brett and his team.
I saved thousands, refurbishing rather than replacing and am thrilled the result and my decision to do so.
I have no hesitation in recommending Surface with a Smile to anyone looking to restore their dated or tired kitchen.
