Dined today, greeted on arrival friendly welcome. Then left to wait a little bit before our meal arrived. Ordered from the Christmas menu entrees and mains. Oh my word, we all enjoyed the culinary experience. Freshness of produce, well presented, generous portions. Definitely felt the Christmas spirit, we were first timers and fussy eaters we were not disappointed, therefore highly recommend you take your love ones. Thank you Good Home Takanini for your hospitality. Merry Christmas!

Nice place with some great food. Portions are quite large and filling. I enjoyed the salmon. Others from our group had steaks and burgers and pasta and no complaints. The burgers are very big.

We had a bus pub crawl of 30 people plus and they we're the best at accommodating us, great service and keeping the group feed and check if we needed anything.

Food overpriced, little bowl with a small lamb shank, a tablespoon of mashed potato and a piece of carrot and broccoli. For the price ($39) broke the bank. I can't afford to dine out there again. We went home hungry.

Great food. Pricey but worth it for a treat out now and than. Steak meal surf and turf meal ordered came with jumbo prawns.the mushroom sauce was yummy

Food was a bit average - chowder was tasty but not enough "bits", pork belly was well cooked but the crackling was chewy and I couldn't cut it with a knife, creme brulee wasn't set properly but had good flavour. So overall "OK". Not worth the $100 per head considering.

First visit to Good Home, double celebration (24th wedding anniversary and 12th birthday for grandson) and first dinner with family in over 4 months.thanks Covid. What a delicious surprise! Food was amazing, portions very generous and service was spot on.seriously going back for sure!

Wow, after 100 days plus in lockdown The Good Home was the first place we headed to. Staff were happy to be back at work and we're happy to enjoy a beer in the sun. Great food too

Fantastic meal. Ordered takeaways tonight in Level 3 for my husband's birthday. The meals were amazing. Kids keep raving about their meals and the brownie. Best meal. Thank you.

Very cosy, warm and relaxing atmosphere, nice food, not the fastest service with serving our food but good customer service on arrival and taking orders.
We had pizzas for our teen boys and sodas, quite pricey but not bad overall.
Looking forward to dine there again to try other meals for sure because the menu is mouthwatering.

Superb venue. Great atmosphere. Options of sitting/dining in the bar and outdoor area or in the restaurant itself. Food is always top notch but the best part is the staff. They really do make it feel like you are at home. Highly recommended and will continue supporting as much as we can.

Such a big feed! Food was delicious but sadly some of parts of our entree were cold upon receiving it. The potato mash, steak and Texan style bbq were hearty and I’m incredibly pleased with the portions we were given.

Staff were friendly and had no problems with the seating, great environment for a casual night out! Would love to come again

Excellent service from staff. They were kind and friendly. We hoped the food would have been a bit better though, it missed some essential flavors that we hoping to get. We've had the same dishes elsewhere and found that this place missed to hit the spot. It was a bit pricey too compared to the other restaurants around. I would encourage you to go if it's your first time, personally I wouldn't repeat.

Waited too long for pricey food. As a family we don't go out very often, on this occasion it was a private function we were invited to. Disappointed, no customer service here, just interested in how much your going to spend. Do not recommend if you are someone who wants value for their dollar.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend. The food was absolutely amazing and huge portions! Only downfall was quite a long wait for our food ~45ish mins. Would definitely come here again to try more of the menu.

Came in on the 5/6/21, the service was shocking and slow the staff were rude, was raining so got moved inside and sat at a table that was booked already so didnt have enough time to enjoy our meal as it took over an hour to be served, asked for take away had to wait another 15mins to have that packed, asked for drinks to be served before dinner, but the server forgot about us and kept serving people around us when we reminded her she said one moment then kept serving people drinks that had just arrived! The guy with the glasses that is at your main door needs to either quit his job or change his attitude as hes there to serve and look after customers not get annoyed when he is requested for something this was my favourite place to dine and came in many times but after this me and my family will no longer dine here!
