The Parkhouse Whenuapai Cafe & Eatery

OMG. The French toast is AMAZING! Such a great place to grab a bite and chill on the deck, while the kids play on the great playground outside. 2 hours of awesome.

I was so looking forward to going here, hadn't been in since last summer and knew the food would be incredible like always, with a beautiful venue. As soon as I looked at the pizzas I knew things had changed. Wow. I have had better pizzas at dominoes! They might be woodfired but on supermarket pizza bases? Really? For $20? Oh and the "house made fruit sodas" are literally a glass of kiddy fruit cordial. The dinner menu is super odd, no burgers or anything substantial. Just an odd mix of snack food or truly horrible pizzas. So disappointing that this has changed ownership for the worst. Won't be back.

Good food and coffee, customer service can be better. The food served on time, but after we started our breakfast, no one checked to see if everything is alright or if we need something else. Overall, well deserved 4 star out of 5.

Terrific food, service and lovely park-like setting. And a playground! Now I ask you, what's not to like? Go there and enjoy

We had my sons 5th birthday here yesterday and it was great! We hired spiderman to entertain the kids in the playground and park for an hour and then finished with lunch and cake for 16 kids at the parkhouse. The adults also loved the beautiful setting and enjoyed the coffee and a very pretty platter of treats from the cabinet. Mia was very helpful and accommodating with all my email requests and questions. The only reason I've given 4 stars is that the kids were supposed to get lollies and ice cream as part of the package but this was never served and I completely forgot about it- if wasnt really needed as we had cake and in hindsight some fruit platters probably would've been a better addition instead.
If you're looking for an out of the box kids party venue then this is a good option. We did do it on a friday morning however to avoid the weekend crowds (I think its recommended to do the parties after 3pm on the weekends). Also don't take those party blowouts as I regretted that instantly and felt bad about the noise for the other diners!

This is one of my favourite cafes in this area. Not only a lovely design/decor but the location next to a fabulous safe children's playground makes it ideal for young families. Quite noisy when it is busy. Staff are friendly & helpful, coffee is nice, menu delicious. I like how you can sit indoors or outdoors. Parking is an issue when the cafe & park are very busy.

Had a company gathering for Xmas here today and the service was horribly BAD: we ordered for all people at first place, but they forgot one of the orders when food was delivered, second time i was asked to clear up the bill before ordering ice creams, third time asked them to add on one coffee and one plate for my late coming staff, waiting for over half hour and they totally forgot! I reserved the table a week before and confirmed again at the morning. This is just a worst experience ever and totally ruined our time. Never recommend to anyone! Just could not believe it happed this way. Would giving zero star if there is.

去年聚餐有着美好体验，提前定了桌，结果今年再来，完全变形! 餐一般不说，服务奇差! 心想中国人服务员，放她一马吧，别太计较。没成想被这服务员气得够呛！完全没有服务意识，两次三番的丢冷脸。问她为什么忘了餐，居然回答说是printer不工作了，拜托! 点单是要用打印机而不是用嘴传达的吗？还站在服务台后面朝我们翻白眼! 在2020这奇差的年景里居然这样，真是疯了! 永远不会再去，不会推荐给任何人。

I'll give it 5 star cos perfect for family with little one plus it's right next to nice kids park. Food are nice, plenty on drink menu, i do think it be nicer food menu can be more options.
