Very prompt and very helpful, they resolved my hot water cylinder issue immediately and I would use this company again. There was a hiccup and they stood by their customer service and satisfaction and gave me the benefit of the doubt in a misunderstanding. I would unequivocally recommend this company from my experience.

No issues with the job and on time arrival.

But I would NOT recommend them.

The fun part of the experience began when it came to the invoice time.

Apparently they change for base to base fee PLUS vehicle fee (which I though was a travel fee for less than 2km/ only 5 min travel) on top, which I don’t believe they have communicated to me like that over the phone in first place. They claimed that it was a normal “industry practice”, Well, based on the quotes from other gas fitters it did not appear to me that it was the industry wide practice (some companies did, but the most simply quoted flat travel/car fee). In any event, unfortunately, I did not have written quote to prove what was communicated to me initially.

However, even taking the “base to base” approach, they still overcharged me! And instead of apologising and re-invoicing me to fix their own mistake they are making it look as if they are doing me a favor - as per the quote “… We are prepared to give you a credit. If you agree to this, I will send you a credit”.
That was quite an arrogant response to correcting their own mistake.

I have been dealing with Topline for decades because of the quality of workmanship and care that Willy, Sharon and the team take when resolving our plumbing, roofing and gas fitting jobs. They are constant professionals who I highly recommend.

We used Topline to undertake a small renovation project at our home in St Heliers, Auckland. They took a lot of care of our property, their pricing was good, and their workmanship was excellent. We would definitely use them again.
