V.T. Station - Victoria Terminus

My fiancé and I attended VT Station for dinner last night and it is not only the best service we have received but the food was out of this world.
Every item, both drinks and food, were exceptional.
I don’t have a bad word to say, this establishment has found lifelong customers in us.

Went for a bottomless brunch. Was the best I've been to so far. Excellent food and drinks. I will definitely book myself in for a dinner one night soon.

What an experience, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this meal. The chefs and staff at VT paid attention to even the tiniest detail, despite being busy for NYE.

Let’s start with the service, special shout out to Kanishka, he provided exceptional service and even went above and beyond to help us get a drink which was unavailable. He was smiling and had a really positive attitude which was contagious!

Now over to the food and drinks!

The starters is where VT really shined, we opted for the Koliwada Prawns which was the absolute highlight of this meal! Perfectly fried prawns cooked to perfection (sounds simple right?) but the magic happens with the accompaniments the hari chutney was perfectly spiced with the kick of cumin and slightly extra acid from lime cutting through the richness of the prawns, the pickled onions and deep fried curry leaves were in perfect proportion creating the perfect harmony between sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami - the real NYE fireworks, but for your tastebuds!

The Paneer Kulcha makes you skip a beat, the lactic butter on top with the crunch from the boondi complements the subtly spiced soft paneer, which tasted like it was curdled fresh - much recommended.

The Chilli Chicken gives roadside vibes, like my mum likes to say “van-wala Chinese” it was the perfect snack to complement our drinks which are up next!

Drinks;
Miyuki; one word - YUM! The gin works so well with the tea and the floral notes of the elderflower with the dried limes gave the lovely sour taste.

Spice me up; The gingery notes with the booze worked so well with the Yuzu, didn’t think this combination would work but the correct balance actually brought out the flavours in the appropriate amounts without being too overpowering.

Absent Minded; This was the drink that wasn’t available, we also needed this as a low-sugar drink, the bar staff really hit this out of the park, modifying the flavours to compensate for the low-sugar version, the refreshing hit of cucumber and mint really relaxed you.

Now for the main course, although this was a bit of a wait it was worth it!

First up was the Daal Makhni, and it might be controversial to say that this Daal is as good as the Daal Bukhara. This paired with the flaky and crispy laccha parhanta just makes you want to close your eyes and just savour it.

The Chicken Korma, gave a little Rajhasthni vibes, with succulent chicken thighs and a smooth yogurt gravy, the lamb stock didn’t really give it that extra oomph I was expecting.

The Lababdaar Kofta was just a delight with a masaledaar gravy and the sweetness coming from the pumpkin which just worked so well with the onion tomato gravy, which was laced with the perfume of whole spices. It just worked

Overall VT was a great experience and I will be visiting again! Keep it up!

A very good take on some fantastic Indian cuisine, the menu has great variety, the service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff, great selection of drinks including indian teas which you don't normally find anywhere else, the food is exquisitely presented in every dish and the flavours are divine. Really recommended if you are looking for somewhere other than your regular type of indian restaurant.

Lovely decor, friendly staff, choicest food, nostalgic name. Quite an enjoyable experience. Great location. Chai is a must.

Best Indian meal we've ever had, sooo delicious. The chilli chicken was awesome!

Tried vada pav, pani puri and gajar halwa.
Amazing gajar halwa - flavorful and homely flavor. Not too sweet not too bland - perfection. Paired with ice cream which adds more taste.
Vada pav has tangy flavor - not very a typical Mumbai vada pav.
Pani puri was bland.

Even though the food here isn’t necessarily bad but service / hospitality is absolutely pathetic to say the least. We had to ask for water repeatedly before we could get our glasses filled, there was no change of plates between 4 dishes which is absolutely unacceptable and not once they asked if we needed tissues / cutlery. We paid around 120 for dinner for 2 of us and at that price we expect the bare minimum service at least. The 2 stars are only for the hardworking chefs behind the scenes.

Had a fantastic meal at VT Station this week. Service was great, the staff were all friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Mutton Pepper Croquettes and Paneer Kulcha. We just missed Happy hour from 3-6 so will try to come back for that next time. Thanks team.

Had an amazing experience with VT Stations' bottomless brunch for a hens do. Drinks and food were both fantastic, waiters were friendly and knowledable and our gluten-free friend had great alternative options.

Been here before and it was great but it seems as if prices have quadrupled. $42 for a glass of wine, $34 for a small curry but rice is extra.disappointing

Clean, friendly, spacious and beautiful arcetecture to catch your eye. A short walk from the train or the mall.

The food is very delicious and nice quality but very very expensive dish and very less quantity. I would never go there ever again. Not affordable.

We had a family dinner but it was not worth it. We didn’t like food at all and food quantity was way more than less what they are charging for their food items. I am giving one star just for their friendly staff, won’t recommend to anyone.

Not a very good experience with customer service this time round. We had booked the table online and did miss the fine print which read we get the table for 2 hours. However when we were at the restaurant and our mains got to the table we were told we had 5 mins to clear the table. When we asked the waiter how did they expect us to finish our mains in 5mins, he went back to the manager and then the manager came and advised he had extended our table for another 30mins. And then once we finish eating we were moved to the outside table so had to carry our drinks while we walked out. To compensate for the inconvenience they did give our group a complimentary dessert. However the service experience was spoilt for us by then. Feedback from our group - Food was so much better than the service. They didnt have much crowd so what was the reason to move us? Couple of us went in to check the tables inside and they did have some tables they could have put together for 6 people. I have been there before and had fantastic customer service (was a Mr Patel from memory) but he was missing this time round so guess the new face I saw was not experienced enough to provide the same awesome service.
Overall not happy with the service this time but full points for the food and the cocktails as were the best as always.

$65 bottomless brunch was great value. Lovely tasting menu of 6 dishes. Nice range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Friendly staff and a lovely ambiance.

Love this restaurant! The attention to detail is so good and the food is delicious the cocktails are instagram worthy and are yummy!
