We had an after hours plumbing emergency and the team were helpful and quick to arrive. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had a blocked wastewater drain with toilet waste bubbling up outside, and we required urgent assistance. It was election night, with the All Blacks playing the following morning, and we called over ten companies advertising themselves as 24/7 emergency plumbers. Isaac and Water Works were the only company that could respond immediately. Communication with the call taker was clear and efficient, and Isaac arrived within the time frame specified. Isaac resolved the issue within an hour and did not charge beyond the quote for the call-out. I was also impressed that Isaac cleaned up afterwards, washing away the waste for us and giving advice on how to reduce the smell. Thank you again for taking the stress away and allowing us to watch the election and AB’s with peace of mind.

The reason I choose this company after reading the review and I thought I would be able to trust as what this company says! Unfortunately after the job was completed I received an Invoice for a ridiculous amounts which I was not told when I first called in and booked for the job. Am really upset and disappointed how this company has been contradicting with their prices. In my invoice I have been charged as an apprentice was presented with the plumber, why am I paying for his fees when he is employed by the company? And also paying for gloves and rag? ! I mean if I was told I would have supplied it myself. Am really confused as how this company deals with their customer and how their charges work cause all these charges am not liable to pay.

I’ve taken a day off from work to get my leaking hot water cylinder sorted. Called Waterworks early in morning to get a quote, they requested for $195 deposit before proceeding with job which was fair enough. The person on the phone then asked me for photos of the leakage and mentioned that they will provide a quote by end of today as nothing can be done today which means i had to take additional days off from work just for waterworks to do my job. Such a useless response im sure they would have been able to get something done on the same day as i called earlier in the morning! I hung up the phone and called someone else who managed to get my job completed in less than a day.

I needed someone to check out my leaking roof Gave Water Works a call and they sent out 2 x very capable trades Check out the job and said should have a quote to repair by Monday Looking forward to their next visit

I had what I thought were replacement work for two taps which were leaking with faulty/broken tap valves.

Isaac came to assess the work and discovered that the leak was also due to an old malfunctioning insinkerator.
He didn't rush as he discovered that the main cutoff valves to the unit had also seized up.

He planned well and arranged for the mains to be shutdown. Replaced the faulty main switch off valves (which was a disaster waiting to happen) first. Then proceeded to systematically address the taps, insinkerator and.

Isaac also identified a rusty pipe for the toilet mechanism which was another disaster waiting to happen and we had that replaced too by colleague Tim.

All in all a fantastic experience. You seemed 8 feet tall. ️

Called in the morning, emergency leak. Technician was here by 1'ish. Fixed tap issue with part and was so polite and tidy. Price for work was very reasonable. Wldnt go anywhere else now. Thankyou Waterworks

I've used Shane's crew for two separate jobs recently. In both cases the work was excellent with no mucking around and no padded charging on their invoices. I highly recommend these guys based on what I've experienced.

Shane and Warren's team of plumbers are really reliable. They get in contact directly with the tenants, arrange the maintenance or pick up of keys from the office. They call us on site if additional work is needed to get sign off and the invoices are coming up in a timely manner. If somehow, the repair does not last, they go back to have a look and fix directly.

We use them for our building managements purposes and all the properties we have under management for the last 18 months.the extent of their abilities is quite broad from kitchen tap to major leaks. Overall we are really happy with the deliverables and would like to recommend them if you ever need plumbing being done under a short timeframe.

I will never use or recommend Shane and his team at Water Works Plumbing. Shane has been promising for 9 months to make good on an appalling concrete reinstatement to my driveway following a leak. He has consistently promised to make good on the shocking repair - always promising one of his concreting mates will "be in touch" or "come to see the job". If you are searching for a plumber - use Water Works at your peril if you want a professional reinstatement of your driveway.
