Wild Weta Pest Control Auckland

I was dupped by Spiderman, charged me $600 to spray for spiders, flies and rats.
Promised a 6 month warranty. Of course he ask us to leave the premises as the "commercial" product he was using is toxic for up to two hours.
Since he left spiders have just got bigger, fatter and laid more eggs, creating lots of healthy baby spiders. Have called at least 4 times and sent 5 text, but no response.

My advice if you give this con-man a donation is to:
- wash the sugar water off your walls that he sprays on it attracts insects
- keep an eye on him at all times
- get a full explanation on the "commercial" product he uses and read the label carefully
- change your toothbrush when he leaves

I would only leave a poor review as a very last resort, but want to warn people I feel like I have been ripped off big time.

We have been facing German cockroach problem for a very long time. Used so many other companies but no result. But after using wild west and with the help of Craig we are able to get rid of this problem and finally it worked.

Craig treated my property for mice. After spotting them across the week I immediately went searching for pest control and came across Wild Weta. The reviews were good so I called on a Sunday and Craig was able to give me advice and a quote for the job which he stayed true to. He came within a couple days given the emergency and was efficient and careful with the treatment. He also made sure I knew how the treatment worked and what to expect in the coming days. He has followed up multiple times and given a 6 month guarantee. I've really appreciated his sound advice and customer service. It's been 3 months and still no sign of mice. Highly recommend Craig and his services!

Craig was very responsive when I first called about our rodent problem, he came a couple days after I had called. He was able to answer any question I had well. Also after his visit the rodents were gone and no more trace of them. Highly recommend Wild Weta to get rid of rodents.

We have been using Wild Weta for over 2 years and they are a fantastic company to deal with. They are great communicators and every time we have organised a time they turned up! He does a great job spraying and is careful around furniture etc. We have white ceilings and off-white walls and the spray doesn't leave any kind of marking.
We get a general spray in every year and it pretty much lasts a whole year. Well worth the price.

I called wild weta out of desperation because the rat has damaged my water pipe. I agreed I didn't read the website properly before I accepted the quote which is my bad and lesson learnt. However I was in a vulnerable state since I just had the stress of trying to clean up the water from a bursting pipe so checking the website for pricing was the last thing on my mind. The website said for 2-3 bedroom house the price is $195 to $295+gst. I live in a 2 bedroom unit which is 70 square metres. I would expect the cost to be around $195+gst but wild weta charged me $400 (cash price). When I got the quote from Wild weta he just asked me where I live but didn't ask me about the size of my house. When I questioned about the price after the job was done, he basically said you have accepted it and he has to charge travel cost from Northshore (I live in Auckland Central) as well and he goes on and on and on and on (he said the website said has to take other factors into account for the quote but i couldnt find it). He was very defensive and rude and raised his voice. I told him as a customer i have the right to question about the price and I asked him nicely about it as well. Also I asked him about the rat poison he was using and he was also very defensive and kept justifying how his rat poison is different to the one you buy in the normal store and he has years of experience and he goes on and on and on again. I had to stop him and said that I get it and I understand it and you have already said it before and so on. Just be careful when you ask him a question, he gets very defensive and he will ring you again to justify and raise his voice and wouldn't let you talk and wouldnt answer you nicely. I regret asking him all those questions even though I thought as a customer what I have asked him is reasonable. Also please don't ring me to justify about this feedback. Thanks!

Have tried to use Craig's service for my move-in general pest control, and rats control, which costs $1,000 in total for a small flat. The cockroaches were still alive and happy a few weeks after the first treatment. So I called again for a second visit. Craig promised to come back very soon since its under the warranty. But he keeps postponing and making excuses. In the end, I had to call another pest control which did a fantastic job quickly with less than half of Craig's quote. Till today, Craig still hasn't gotten back to me with my query. I was attracted by Craig's 5 stars review, but in the end, I got the worst experience I ever had. A big no to this business.

We had a bad infestation of cockroaches and at our wits end and needed to get it treated. I called Wild Weta and described the situation and instantly they were able to tell me the breeds of cockroach I had and knew how to get rid of them, we made an appointment for the next day and my house was quickly treated. THE NEXT DAY, dead cockroaches started appearing. I can not recommend these guys more. Thanks again.
