Winger Pukekohe reviews
47 Absolute lies.is all I received from winger service department.
Couldn't really decide if it was incompetence or just straight out lies.but after taking my car to another mechanic to get work checked.they had to remedy what winger had done and told me it looked like the work was done in such a way it was set up to fail.avoid winger and go elsewhere for your own safety and piece of mind.
Have heard alot of things about wingers pukekohe.sales team can be hot or cold.follow up work and servicing is a joke.females taking cars in to get repairs are ripped off and often made to feel like its a very creapy atmosphere in the service department.thats if the work has even been done.think even if I was to buy a vehicle from wingers I would definitely be taking it elsewhere for its service work!
We all know when we are being lied to and told bullshit.the service team at wingers don't seem think the same.as all I've got from them is lies and a constant run around.the manager seems to the most full of shit and untrustworthy person there.can tell by the blank look on his face he's making excuses on the spot.not impressed and won't be going back again.full of shit
Will never go back to wingers again.am sick of getting messed around over silly little things.and the blank look on the managers face definitely makes you wonder if they know what they're doing at all.went to pick up my wife's car after getting a service done.they didn't even know if the work had been done, even though they had rung to say car was ready to be picked up.just sounded like they were making up excuses on the spot.
Pretty average service at best.probably won't be going back again and I recommend anyone going there to think twice before getting anything done on their vehicle.
Even the little things seemed out of their grasp and got the feeling they were trying to make a mountain out of a molehill.
Bunch of incompetent bullshit talking amateurs that's for sure.
Wingers is about the right name to describe that bunch. I definitely got the feeling they were winging it when they tried to bullshit me about the amount the repairs my car needed to get a wof.
They hadn't even looked at my car.they were describing someone else's vehicle altogethe,
And when I said mine was another car.they said"yes yes thats the car I ment".
Won't be going back for a wof or any "repairs" to that place
Absolutely hopeless! We ordered four tyres a week ago which were to come from Dunedin. On the morning they were to be fitted we were told they'd not arrived, then four days later after phoning twice advised they'd been sitting at Mainfreight the whole time, so obviously there was no tracing done at all. This morning I went in to have the tyres fitted only to discover they were the wrong ones. After wasting a week with Wingers Pukekohe, I have just phoned Mag and Turbo Warehouse, and will have my four new tyres fitted this afternoon.
The place has definitely gone down hill.
What used to be a reputable franchise now seems to be amateur hour at its best.
Had an intermittent A/C problem so though I'd take the car to the factory dealer team (wingers).
After leaving my car with them for the day because they were to busy to have a look. (that's fine I understand) was told the whole system would need replacing at a cost in the thousands!
After leaving and not really feeling very confident in ever having a/c again.went to an a/c and auto electrician specialist a week later in manukau.
Turns out it was a $150 part that I could replace myself on the pump (maybe in my younger days) or they could fit me in the next afternoon.done.
I don't think winger even looked at the issue and am glad I called in to another shop for a second opinion.
Worst experience in car sales and service I've ever experienced.
Leaves a lot of room for improvement!
Winger pukekohe may be convenient if your from out of town, but I recommend you avoid them and shop elsewhere for your vehicle and servicing needs.
Service is a pretty broad term.
but seems like one winger is unfamiliar with.
terrible experience and will not be going back!
Would recommend anyone getting repairs or maintenance done on their car to look elsewhere!
After traveling from out-of the area to buy the wife a new car at wingers (I could definitely think of another name for them!) I don't think we will be bothering to go back again.sales team didn't even ask if were look at something in particular.more seemed interested in moving us on as if we were holding them up from closing.
Have never felt I've needed to leave a review anywhere.but omg.after dealing with winger pukekohe after purchasing our new Hyundai. I wish I had never never gone there at all. 3 months to chase up a missing key fob.numerous phone calls that were never replied to.we live out of town and I had to drive in there to get any action.and was still met with excuses after excuses.very poor follow up service and would not go there again.don't even get me started on the service team.more lack of!
My wife took her Hyundai to get a service done at winger pukekohe and was told it needed new spark plugs and 2× wheelbearings.funny thing is they put new long life plugs in less than 10,000 km ago and told her at the time they were good for 80,000 km.and I took the car to my mechanic to get wheel bearings checked.they laughed and said I think you have been sucked into the oldest trick in the book.tell a lady customer she needs things she doesn't.sounds like winger greenlane in the early 2000's.stealing customer parts and charging for work not carried out.
Left me car at wingers for regular service few weeks ago.
Came time to pick it up and was told won't be ready for another 2days.
When I finally did get it back over 50km had been clocked up on it and had food or pastry crumbs in drivers and passengers side.
Have the feeling it was used to do parts and smoke runs.
Will not be going back to winger pukekohe again and would also advise anyone who does use them to be weary.when I guestioned the service manager I was met with excuses that seemed made up on the spot!
Took my van in for a service. Had an ac fault. 5 trips later its still not fixed and they keep charging me for not fixing it. They Now don't want anything to do with it so I'm left out of pocket and with a van that still has no ac. Take your business anywhere else.
Turned up on Saturday after test driving a Ute at the Toyota next door, got fabulous service from Toyota but wanted to test drive an Isuzu D-Max to compare however the sales guy from Isuzu couldnt of cared less seemed to be too busy playing with a dog, well Isuzu one thing is for sure you lost a sale! Would never return if no service is all you offer.
Tryed to get my van fixed here 10 weeks later they have charged me and its still not fixed. Now dont want to deal with it so im out of poket and still have a van thats not fixed. Do not go here
Post sales service less than stellar. Did not receive any notification of 2 recalls on our new car. I had to visit to ask. Still don't know what the recalls were for!
Really basic outfit.
Tried to purchase a car a year or so back, drove 4 hours to find the car was worse condition than expected with damaged interior (2 seat belts needed replacing and boot interior plastic had a football sized hole in it) and issues brought up in a pre purchase inspection weren't fixed. Got the feeling that they were taking advantage of the fact I was a young guy wanting a Subaru. It was a terrible experience but never felt compelled to leave a review until I tagged along to the yard with a mate a week or so ago and we were completely ignored. Winger is normally fantastic, not sure why this branch isn't.
Bought a car here nearly 2 years ago and was basically chased and chased up until I paid the deposit and then completely forgotten about. Phone calls, messages, emails went unanswered. Promises broken. Had to drive onto the car yard and say I wasn’t leaving until I got something fitted that was promised a month earlier. People certainly rushed around then. Just recently (1 year+ after purchase) they’ve been calling my old flat mate (?) asking if I’m coming in for my service. I’ve had 2 services since buying it, none of which I’ve gone here for. Have told everyone I know to avoid going here.
