This place is in a nice spot in Papamoa, $30 for a really average fish and chips meal.ican see why they use a small plate. Or meals took ages to come considering they we're not that busy.

Our party of 4 enjoyed delicious food with a great view of the ocean.
I had Mushroom Cavaletti with Truffle topping. Divine. Not listed here for comment but so delicious.

Had my husband’s birthday lunch there for 14 people - staff were amazing and very accommodating and the food (set menu) was great. Made it easy, fun and memorable!

Limited menu options unless you liked seafood and mushrooms. The duck was also not available. Disappointed with food but wait staff were excellent and nice location.

The food was amazing. Had the chefs special Lamb Shoulder with Israeli couscous. Incredible flavors that complimented each other.

The wagyu burger was good. What surprised me was the Brulee introduced by the beautiful waiter, which was delicious. Thick slices of caramel are topped with a not-too-sweet caramel sauce, and some strawberries add to the texture. The fly in the ointment is that the egg wash underneath is a bit melted, probably to toast the caramelized slices.

We took International guests and they were so impressed with sea views and the great food. Staff were very friendly with good service.

We went there twice during our recent week in the Mount. The first time we sampled the mains which were fantastic (duck and pork).

The second time, we tried the small plates and these were awesome too.

Crispy squid, Korean fried chicken, pork belly skewers and beer battered fries sound like a list of things you could get anywhere. But in every case they were exceptionally well cooked, generous and with tasty sauces too. Even the tomato sauce with the fries was house-made and very delicious.

The service was also smooth and friendly.

Definitely recommended.

Only tried the snack menu, which had a good selection and very tasty, and plenty of, beers were good. Situated in a cracking spot, and the girls done a fab job with their service.

Hohohohoh. Stumbled upon this place on the way to the wrong Bobby's Fish & Chip store (which was also closed). I gotta say, I'm glad I did because this place was lovely. As usual, got like a third of the menu.

Let's just get this outta the way right now. WE NEED MORE CAVATELLI. It's a crime that more Italian places don't serve it. EVEN IF THEY DID, they wouldn't match this places cavatelli. Both dishes were the highlight of this meal.

Ironic, and I'm not sure if it's ironic, that their fish and chip game was weak. Insignificant pieces of fish and lackluster fries.

FYI: Get the tempura oyster mushrooms. The crunch is to die for.

Guests dismissed and rushed to leave to prepare tables for second service. This was disappointing as hardly anyone came for second run

My friends and I were up for the weekend and decided that we would dress up and go for a meal and drink. Luckily the Bluebiyou was down the road from the beach resort we were staying. The staff there were great, we had to wait 5 or so minutes (which was fine), and the manager was kind enough to give us a discount on our first round of drinks. He also comped one of my friend's meals because what she originally ordered turned out to be out of stock. The food and drinks were excellent all around and the atmosphere was very inviting, we all really enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing food and cocktails. Great vibe and exceptional service. Will return here on our next visit to Papamoa

When for a leisurely 40 anniversary dinner booked for 3 weeks prior. Food was great (I think came and went so fast) went to pay was asked are you from the big table do u want to pay part or all. I said all she said $1020 I pad and she just walked away was just about run over by Adam the manager as he was rushing to clear our table. Only contact with manager. Worst $1020 spent. I had to apologize to my family and friends for the rushed dinner will not go again.

Great food, nice wines and awesome location right by the beach. What's not to like! Did I mention friendly wait staff?

Too be honest, lovely atmosphere, beautiful servers, food was a different experience for me overall but would rate it 10/10 just because im a big eater, and when the waiters brought out the food, i thought we were gona stop in at Maccas after but was definitely satisfied with the meal, ur cocktail was overflowing but i wouldnt moan about that lol
