Delicious and affordable! I love getting the red curry with tofu to go and it lasts me two meals. It tastes so good it's hard to put down and as a bonus, compared to other Thai restaurants it's about $5 cheaper too! Can't go wrong, my new local fave

Food seemed okay.service was a bit off, my friend ordered noodles but received rice.waitress wouldn't let us order drinks at the bar, told us she'd bring them to the table, but that took her ten minutes to do.it was $4.50 for a can of coke which is the most I have ever paid for a can of coke.

Very good value for money restaurant, very good food, but don’t try to go there for a nice long evening, we got kicked out at 9.30pm on a Saturday night of a long weekend!

Don’t order online from this place. Got told our food would be ready in 40 minutes and then 10 minutes into our drive got told it would be ready in 80 minutes. Even 80 minutes was inaccurate as had to wait 1hr and 40 minutes before receiving any food. Given the prices they charge this is disgusting. Won’t be coming here again or recommending.

Totally the best Asian food I have eaten. Quick and courteous service, delicious menu. I especially love the Taste of Thai Thani duck with prawns and cashews.delicious!

This is the 3rd meal we have had here. Now a restaurant of choice when visiting Tauranga. Definitely recommended.

I came with my elderly mother and her cousins. We had the lunch menu meals which were a really decent size and most surprising. Good prices and very affordable. Enjoyed the meal and experience. Thank you

Had a table for 5 for dinner yesterday, restaurant wasn’t that busy but it took an hour to get our entrees, mains were a bit quicker! Food was really good but definitely need to work on their speed for service

We requested a table and were told by a staff member to come back at 8pm when a table would be cleared - no worries, we were happy to walk around for 20-25mins.

We came back at 8pm, sat down at a table that had just been cleared, and one of us went up to talk to a different staff member to say we were the group they asked to come back. The staff member said we can’t be served, as they would be closing before our food would be ready.

Pretty frustrating when they were still accepting tables of four, and we were only three more people.

Fast service, tasty & well portioned dishes! So yum! Highly recommend this Thai cuisine restaurant!

Have been going to this restaurant for many years, tonight was a shocking experience! Hence the poor review, our group arrived at 6pm and got our main meal over an hour and a half later at 7.35pm. Others seated well after us got their meals well before us so service very poor, Meal very average, value for money very average also. My Beef Massuman extremely salty and very little meat and all gravy, sadly our group will never go back! Our previous experience very similar, so no more chances for our group and many friends! Plenty more dining options in Tauranga.

Very nice food and very quick service. Portion was a very good size and I could barely finish my meal.

Laksa and Green curry are fabulous. The best one I have ever have in Tauranga and the one as same as I had in Thailand. I also order a takeaway when I leave for my dinner. Highly recommend and would be back

First time to this restaurant after reading good reviews but our experience and that from four of us was very disappointing. One of our dishes was a sizzling dish but on arrival at the table there was not the slightest sizzle and the food was only warm plus the other two main course meals were again only warm.
We are older people and reluctant to complain but all of us left disappointed especially the person celebrating her 80th birthday. The entree's were all enjoyed but the main courses were not up to standard.

Waited over an hour after entrees for our mains, had to ask for drinks twice, very disappointed, friendly staff but needs improvements as other customers came aye and left before we had received our mains, only 2 of us

We had a great time, great place, great service, the food was amazing. Love the place. Loved having a singha beer again!

Have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed my meal. Very tasty and consistent which is great. The staff are always friendly and the place is very clean.

The food was good, but the service wasn’t very good at all. Whilst others around had been waiting over 45 minutes, our order came quite quickly, once we ordered it. It took a a long time for a order to be taken, Even though the restaurant was very quiet. Asking for a second glass of wine took two attempts at least. The manager herself was not terribly apologetic, and seemed far too keen to blame her staff rather than taking responsibility. And there was no sincerity when asked if we’d enjoyed our meal. It might be the best Thai restaurant in Tauranga, but it might be worth thinking of choosing another cuisine if you’re heading here And value customer service. But might be good for a takeaway or a ‘Faulty Towers’ evening out.

The food was lovely. I'm not a big fan of Thai food but the noodles were divine! The only reason for not giving 5* is that the wait time was too long, it took almost an hour to get the main dish.

We ordered online and were in a rush; the lovely people and chefs at Thai Thani 2 were so accommodating to us to and prepared our food extra quick. Thank you so much! We really appreciated the friendly service and the food is great. Will always pick them first for Thai in Tauranga.
