The Nourished Eatery / Vitality Kitchen reviews
67The elixir I got here was really good. I can’t remember everything that was in it but I do know it had chocolate! The employee was really helpful when I wanted their advice on which would be sweetest because I thought all of them sounded good but I wanted the sweetest one. Nice place!
Plenty of plant based options. Every time I try something new. The food is always beautifully presented and tastes great.
Dining here now and couldn’t wait to write a review. The food is beautifully presented and delicious.
Looks like the new owners are doing a great job
I don't know who is making these desserts. They are amazing. Every Sunday I try their delicious desserts.this time it was ginger slice and the brownie.never ever taste the brownie like this.and they are vegan
New owners are doing a fantastic job, so friendly and welcoming. Great menu, lots of gluten free options, good coffee, high chair for kids. Will be the best Cafe in Tauranga in no time.
Here’s some feedback:
If you want your staff to find their feet a bit faster, I recommend they worry less about what’s on their phones and properly cater to the customers (of which we were the only 2). The food was good (even though it wasn’t what we ordered) but if service doesn’t improve you will lose customers.
Wow, what a great experience we had visiting Nourished. The team there were so friendly and inviting, and nothing was problem despite being busy. Food was top notch with enough of a range to cater to everyone's needs. Eatery had a real clean, relaxed, and airy feel to the place. Would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to our next visit.
Lovely cafe, friendly service and beautiful vegan food. Gluten free date scones absolutely amazing! (had to buy another one for take away). Great coffee too!
The new owners have introduced some great improvements!
Very good vegan food and options.
Great place to eat in Tauranga if you're vegan.
Kia ora, had a pretty bad experience here today. Came in with my 5 year old around 1pm and instantly felt like we were a burden and maybe you were closing early. No greeting when we walked in and when we walked up to the cabinets we got a hello but it was honestly like the staff wanted us gone. My 5 year old was touching some magnets on the counter and I said she shouldn’t be touching them and the girl behind the counter just stared blankly at her. We ordered our food and drinks and went and sat down inside, I watched the woman behind the counter eyeball me and my girl after looking at the magnets and after the reception we got when we walked in or lack there of, I wasn’t happy to sit there and be looked at like trash after paying for kai, just because my child played with little magnets on the counter. I went up and said to the girl “I didn’t want to raise my voice and get angry but it felt like she was having a bad day and didn’t want to be there and I didn’t appreciate her eyeballing me and my daughter” she was horrified and said “whaaaat”. I asked them to put our Kai and drinks in takeaway containers and went and sat outside to wait. No apology or anything. Seriously terrible customer service and she should not be working in hospitality. The greeting coupled with looks of disgust are enough to put me off ever coming here again.
Really yummy food and especially good coffee. The staff are really nice and the place is just so so pretty. <33
The most Devine muffins, always freshly made with pure ingredients, coffee is always made perfectly, staff super happy and friendly, I would fully recommend going whether it's for coffee or lunch.
Loved the tasty date scone and coffees were superb. Thank you to the very pleasant staff who served us.
So good I could cry. I genuinely feared I was being served something glutenous, it's so good and convincing. Sandwiches and donuts, what more could a celiac sufferer ask for? Delicious options, delightful coffee even for those of us who don't much care for coffee, good pricing, phenomenally helpful and friendly staff.
Our favourite Vegan Bakery whilst in the North Island NZ! Shar, thank you so so soooo much for everything you have ever done for us! We love your coffee, we love your food and we love you!
A must try for all diets! You won't be able to tell the difference - we promise you!
The absolute best gf/ vegan donuts I’ve ever had! Love the vibe, love the food and the staff are great. Highly recommend!
Poor customer service. Let me add to this so you understand my point of view now that I finally got a response. We had no warning about no table service. We sat down and the girls at the till were busy yarning to a little girl for nearly the entire 20mins we sat there. And if you noticed us during that conversation you could of at least made a gesture to let us know that there is no table service. Doesn’t take a lot for one of you to pause, come out of the conversation and say to us “hey guys come up and order when you’re ready”. Next time just be more considerate.
Food edible. Service left a bad taste. Young girl was too busy supping on her drink bottle to show any interest in answering our questions on the food. Very disappointing.
Really nice coffee and tea, combined with delicous muffins, pies and other bakery.
The really cute furniture and the chill music adds on really nice.
Always come in here for coffee and snacks when I’m in Tauranga. It is coeliac friendly which is great for some of my family, and they offer full fat milk if you don’t want vegan friendly options! All bases are covered. Cookbooks have gone down a treat with mum too
