Great service, 16 I'd us turned up today and the staff were superb, the coffee & cake was lovey.

Disappointing.
The manager was rude, the truffle risotto was tasteless, I felt sorry for our server as I feel she was thrown in the deep end with no training. I wouldn’t go here again.

Absolutely delicious food and the service was top notch. I highly recommend this place. Oo and the coffee was delicious too!

I got the salmon eggs Benedict & waffles. Salmon was nice, but the egg/holly was watery, which made the meal a bit soggy. I liked that they had sautéed spinach and rocket on the plate. Food overall was pretty good, but the coffee was awesome and I'd come back for that. Service was also very average.

Small amount of options on the menu, very French oriented with the food. Some gf and veg options. If you like salmon you definitely need to go.

Amazing brunch! The food was fantastic quality and the quantity was generous. I had mushroom on Pomme Anna potato with added poached egg and bacon. Well worth the cost. Thank you Trading Post.

Bree was Awesome (chek out her smiles), chef came and chatted, we were allowed our fur child (outside of course) - where there were heaters and blankets.

And then truffles.

They do truffle inspired deliciousness.

Delicious.

It’s been a long time without reason to stop in Paengaroa. Stoked we have one again.

Can’t wait to try more French inspired awesomeness.

Friendly staff. Meals came out pretty quick. Accommodated our group which was larger than had advised them of.

Awesome selection of quality decorator products. Many personally sourced from the USA and imported for their store.

Beautiful atmosphere, gorgeous eye filler steak, great service. Owners are friendly and approachable. Happy staff

Dinner Friday night. Entree Main. Dessert each. All dishes were impeccable.tasty.beautifully presented. Service great. Ambiance great. 10/10.

Generally good food with french influence, however I'm always pretty disappointed when a cafe serves canned whip cream. The service could be improved greatly, there was no welcome or info on how to order (table service or up at the counter), in addition we had been given our meals and finished them before our drinks arrived. So, food is OK, experience is a bit poor.

Edit: after we reminded the team they made the drinks. I had ordered an iced latte, this is advertised as coming with whipped cream, it dosen't. I actually think it is better without (particularly since it would have been canned.but still. Not as advertised.)

We will be back.
One thing.the croissant was well cooked and also the hamburger buns. I'd say burnt.
But singer playing was nice and service too.

The meal was excellent, just starting a new business need to get established staff interact well with diners, reason for three stars need one more staff member maybe when up and running smoothly. Highly recommended.

I was totally looking forward to the mushroom tagliatelle with truffle shavings (since they are in season right now), but was left disappointed. The dish was very soupy, bland, and the pasta was totally overcooked, with broken pasta bits pooled on the bottom. Tasted ok after some aggressive seasoning. Also it might be a good idea for your waitress to get into a habit of making all customers feel welcomed, as she kept addressing my partner only when serving our table for whatever reason.

The food was pretty good, staff not very smiley at all, I told them the coffee was great to see if I'd get a smile and yes I did

Been here for a light lunch with a group of people for a field day nearby, taste really french and love the great toast with all sort of cheese. Recommended.

But the place is a little small for a group of 40+ people. There is an covered outdoor table setup but it was drizzling and a bit cold so we haven’t seated outside.

Excellent service very friendly staff Excellent wine and our meal was outstanding loads of parking. We had a lovely evening celebrating our 38th Wedding Anniversary. We definitely we be going back.

Rather a nice stop for a taste of genuine french ambiance. Menu is very limited but what we had was nice. Suspect they would get much more repeat business and becomes a destination with a wider choice. Definitely recommend though and the surprise shop next door was a real bonus.
