Great place to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. Lovely food and reasonable price. Staff were great and went out of their way. First day open in lockdown 2. Will be visiting again.

Excellent venue for my wife and I wedding anniversary, would be an even more stunning place in the summer. Highly recommend Brenda and the team. Excellent customer service, excellent buffet option and great vibes. Can't wait to be back again for the next family event.

Lovely and warm inside on wet, cold night. Good sized entrees and meals, nicely presented. One strange combination pickle and fish together coated in batter.

Great place for all family, brilliant play area 4 kids, outdoor fireplace, lots outdoor seating, good food.

Awesome duck meal, presented beautifully on the plate... Pizza very tasty and lovely crispy chips. Nice sitting in the Verlander.

Reasonable food and service. Macaronni cheese wasn't a good fit in a burgher- it all ended up soggy. Friendly folk.

1pm Sunday lunch and 3 items on menu were not available. Over priced for VERY average meal. Only saving grace was a nice tidy establishment and a decent long black coffee.

Good coffee. Had soy milk that didnt overpower the coffee taste. Nice food selection. Fab hot chips. Very accommodating for special diets

Recently refurbished and renamed Thornton Eatery. Tasty food and friendly staff, with plenty of seating and a playground for kids.

Starf were great, meal very nice and great service didn't have to wait long, only down side staff weren't wiping tables down a bit hit a miss.

Lovely gardens but must have caught the Chef on an off day. We wanted to exclude all toast, breads etc and we heard him grumble to staff 'why can't they have what's on the menu'. Have visited 3 times over the last 2 months but even though nice atmosphere we will not be returning.

Happy to recommend this place. Does not look much from outside but inside is perfect. Food was lovely.

We always enjoy going to the White House, Whakatane. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The food is good. I have had the Sizzling Pork Fajitas several times.so good.

Convenient location, beautiful garden, very relaxing atmosphere with very friendly staff. And the food is delicious. Enjoyed our lunch very much. Highly recommended.
