Urbano Bistro Cafe & Restaurant

Went to urbano for dinner for our wedding anniversary. Had an amazing meal great service. The atmosphere Was extremely loud inside though, as there were a number of larger bookings in the restaurant when we had our booking.

Awesome tasty breakfast, and portion size is great! Friendly service too. Highly reccommend if visiting Rotorua

We were visiting Rotorua from Auckland and needed local recommendations. Some friends that travel frequently in the area recommended Urbano, "we always go there when in Rotorua" I can see why, the staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were all beautiful and delicious. Pricing for kids meals was excellent. Slightly on the high side for adult menu but we'll worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Went for afternoon tea with family (2 adults, 2 teens) to use up a voucher close to expiration date. Quiet cafe (what we were wanting), good food variety (had cheese platter, nachos, burger & chips with iced tea, iced coffees & OJ) Prompt service, friendly staff, sat outdoors which was lovely. Staff offered us to take away slices to make up to voucher value or keep as credit for future use which was nice touch.

We got a voucher so can't say much for the price, pricing seemed reasonable though. I had the chicken burger, it was good, and what you expect from one, would order again. We went during afternoon tea so could only order from bar menu, which has a large selection for what it is. Food was quick in downtime, waitress was efficient.

Had morning tea there but saw a couple of meals being served to other customers. Well presented and looked very appetizing

Had a wonderful time at the Urban Bistro. The staff were amazing, the food was beautiful and they simply couldn't do enough to make sure our stay in Rotorua was extremely pleasant. The menu was stunning for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Outside was particularly nice. Come highly recommended.

I'm yet to experience the food quality but I've just been for an interview and the quality of customer service is excellent. The place makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. The lighting is a cool glow which illuminates the restaurant. Plenty of choice to choose from at the bar. I look forward to possibly working here and trying new things

Had a weekday lunch here with work colleagues the day we went into lockdown II. I had the duck pancakes and was very happy with my meal, great atmosphere, the service and the coffee. This place is consistently good

Service was pretty average from staff but was really good from the lady who may be the owner? Drinks came on time but food took >40 minutes, also asked for sauce and never came. Staff need to be a bit more onto it.

Nice brunch/lunch & dinner place, next door to Motel, good coffee and food. The Berry coulis with my French toast order was runnier than I'm used to, looks like a spilt raspberry drink Otherwise nice atmosphere, attentive staff, great service.

I found it very expensive. Not much choice of mains. Our group was over two tables. One group had eaten dessert before other table was even asked if they
wanted dessert. My friend and I had been waiting to order but rest of table decided they wanted to leave, so we didn't get any because so late coming to take order.

Kept forgetting to try this place because its on the side of town we rarely go to.but finally made it there today. Lovely atmosphere, clean and tidy place, wonderful service and food was amazing. Will definitely be recommending to others and returning ourselves

Had the fish meal but the fish was a little dry. A friend had the curry and she said it was beautiful. Lovely fast service.

Wonderful meal and fabulous staff. We felt very welcome, the ambience was terrific and the food delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Next time we're in the region there will be a repeat visit, for sure!

Friendly quick service, excellent, I just went for coffee but food coming out of kitchen looked delicious

Could hardly hear the waitress with her mask on very timid voice. Entree good. Main chicken bland and pile of peppers underneath. Description didn't match the meal. Wouldn't go again

Must admit Rotorua didn't start out as friendly until we went here. Great food and service. Thanks
