Volare Restaurant reviews
48Best Gluten free Pasta I have ever had & made on site.this must be shouted from the roof tops for those that think they will be missing out.we will be back!
Even though we were First table guests last night your staff made it a wonderful experience.
Remember like the old days when you felt special for a while. Service and food were fantastic. Lovely atmosphere and nice to see clean tidy bathrooms. Thank you very much.
I had the vegan bolognese. It was lovely!
Mains were a bit pricey, though work was paying, so.
Amazing food and great service. The pasta was perfectly cooked and flavor was incredible. Highly recommend.
Had a wonderful experience at Volare tonight. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I honestly could not fault them at all, the food was incredible, the ambience/atmosphere was so lovely and a little extra for us was how easy it was to bring a wheelchair in with no fuss or feeling like we have to squeeze through awkwardly with the chair.
So impressed with our whole experience. Thanks so much for making our night so lovely.
Volare has a classy, modern vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. The mushroom bolognese, I ordered was really good, although a little more would have been good, considering the price.
The panecotta dessert was dreamy!
Cocktsils/coffees all fabulous.
Amazing, authentic Italian food! Love this place, no matter the occasion it's the perfect place to go!
We held a 21st birthday for our twins starting with a sit down dinner for core family friends then progressed on to grazing platters for the boys friends. The food looked and tasted amazing and the service fantastic. We had some setup to do and Jessica showed us some tricks of the trade and lent a helping hand, nothing was a problem thanks for helping to make our occasion special
Cheers Michael Higgins
We went to Volare on Friday evening for some food and couldn't of walked away happier. The staff where really attentive. A delicious wine selection and a fantastic variety on the menu along with the slick new branding made this a memorable evening. The crab and prawn ravioli was the star of the show. Also tried my first oyster and and have now been converted.
Shame on you Volare for not honouring a voucher that was bought in good faith. Consequently a very expensive meal and a very disappointing evening all round. Would never recommend or go again
Absolutely delicious food, staff are very conscientious and the chefs even asked us how the polenta was (delicious). Wonderful service and made us feel very welcome.
Fantastic cocktails & apéritifs, it was literally like being back in Rome. Excellent food and sides; highly recommend.
Unfortunately I had the bad experience of ordering the squid ink pasta, with seafood. Something was very strong smelling, even though I was seated outside. My meal left me very I’ll. My daughter and husband had the veal, they also did not feel well, it looked recooked, double fryed. I won’t be back to try a second time.
We got as a gift for Xmas a voucher, we went to Volare this evening and had a lovely meal and wonderful helpful staff, can recommend,
Had the most delicious 3 course meal here. Beautiful setting, reasonably priced, great service and fantastic food. The dinning area is absolutely stunning and worth a visit just to look upstairs! We will definitely be back.
Inexperienced staff with no masks. Side orders charged but not delivered. Undercooked veg and overcooked meat. Vegan main a complete ripoff.
Nearly a 5. Four of us so a range of food selected. Food was nice enough that everyone offered to share. I consider it relatively expensive but in general the food met the price. Eating is upstairs so it can appear unpopular when viewed as empty from the street. Venison was overcooked for my tastes. Menu did not state whether gluten-free was available. Did omit part of the desert, which was rectified. Nice to get a complimentary drink for the birthday boys.
We have been going here for many years. It seems recently things have continued to go down hill. Waiting staff are friendly but slow service and little to know wine or food knowledge. The food was mediocre at best and lacked that something special. All in all an expensive and disappointing experience.
Went here for dinner on Wednesday. Food was amazing. We had the meat platter to start with and I would highly recommend. The wait staff were onto it and looked after us well. Great food, service and atmosphere. We will be back.
One of the best meals/experiences we have had in Tauranga! Wine was great, food was perfectly seasoned, everything we ordered was delicious. Service was amazing, consistent and proffesional.
I went to volare restaurant for the first time on Saturday. I ordered the beef ribs with risotto, but my beef ribs were too dry to eat. Very dissatisfied with my meals, the service was very slow.
