Zippy Central Bar & Cafe

Don't be fooled, the service is not as Zippy as perhaps suggested by their name. However, the Cafe is cosy, meals have always been generous and delicious and the coffee is pretty good too. Smoothies are nice as well, although a little pricey for what they are. Worthwhile if you have a little extra time on your hands.

Excellent food and big portions too. Coffee is great. Often quite busy. Has a great vibe and a firm favourite of mine when in Rotorua.

So pleased to find a Supreme coffee sign out the door! Coffee is great, food was worth the price and staff were lovely. Also cool 50s/60s theme coming through with the tables and chairs! Definitely will go back next time in Rotorua

Clean place, funky design, well priced food and large portions! OMG the apple cake was so delish that we have 2 peices lol.
My 3 year old had a little tanty and the person serving us was super awesome and got her all cherry again.
Totally recommend and my feedback is you could totally charge more for your yummy food and service. Def will be back when we visit!

Best Coffee in all of Rotorua- only place we will god for coffee.

The service is great too and they remember us even tho we are from out of town. Highly recommend this place breakfast is mean too, the do really nice eggs!

Zippys is pretty much a fail safe. If you want strong coffee and flavourful food at a good price, you can't go past Zippys!

Coeliac's will be impressed!
They don't charge Coeliac's xtra $$$.
What a great little cafe. Good prices and a relaxing atmosphere.
Food is beautiful and most of all they cater for Coeliac's and menu has many option, Staff will discuss any concern you may have with the chief's and even allow you to read the food labels. They have a great understanding around Coeliac dietary requirements. Just let staff know.
Would like Zippy's to cook gluten free frys in their own oil to stop cross contamination.
Will definitely be back.

This local café is good. Ambiance is surprising. Love the m&m on my hot chocolate. Staff were really nice.

Food was good, we had to wait for the chips but that was fine the staff are really nice and seam to enjoy their job, they give of a pleasant energy.

Always a good choice. On top of that, i left a drink bottle there 2 months ago and turned up today and they had it for me safe and sound. Thanks Zippy.

Nice and fresh cafe for breakfast and hot drinks in the center of Rotorua. Coffee and hot chocolate is awesome. You can also get variety of menus for morning. Highly recommended

This cafe is a part of Rotorua, having been around forever and standing across from McLeods booksellers you can grab a book and then head over to Zippys for a delicious coffee and cake or a feast of nachos, bagels or pasta while you disappear into a story.

Its now called outlaws bar & bistro. Cheap $10 lunch deals everyday. Leave full as. Taste good too. Steak meal is what we had was nice as

Ordered a mango smoothie. No real mango. Tasted like passionfruit. $7.50. Alot of money for something that doesn't meet expectations. Avoid

Cool cozy little retro café with great coffee best I had a for a while, and cakes yummy also popular with locals always a good sign

Cozy joint which to our pleasant surprise was open even at 5pm when most cafes would have been closed. The drinks were also great and affordable.

Fantastic food and a great casual atmosphere. A favourite amongst the outdoors crew, you'll see plenty of muddy legs under the tables. Kid friendly too. Highly recommend the smoothie, burgers and bagels. Wedges weren't memorable though

Casual, cosy and full of locals (meaning its the best place to go). Food and coffees were great.
