Tatapouri Bay Oceanside Accommodation

Big sites, plenty of room. Nice little bay right out front for the kids, and rock pools. Great coffee and ice cream at Cafe. Had a great 7 night stay, would definitely come back again. Only thing was the shower pressure was very hit and miss to the point it was only a dribble coming out.

What a beautiful place! Literally a paradise! We stayed here for 4 nights at year end/ new years - loved it.

Ground staff are a delight! They make such yummy coffees and bagels too! Hehe

The whole place is so beautiful. We stayed in the Villa cabins and it had everything one will need to cook a decent meal to just chill and have a lovely sleep. We had a toddler with us yet it was so easy to manage everything.

The sunrises are so beautiful, not to forget the moonrises and the star gazing, the calm seas to rhythmic waves at full tide! Oh what a beauty you are Tatapouri Bay! We are in love with you and hope to visit each year! May we see you again!

What an amazing experience, my partner and I stayed in the Tiny Home for the weekend and wow, what a cool spot. Stunning tiny home, beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need from eco friendly soaps to flash coffee! A lot of time and thought has obviously been spent on this. The location of the tiny home is very private as it’s tucked away in the corner right on the beach front, you don’t even know that you’re in a camp site! Epic spot to watch the sun rising over the sea from the bath tub on the deck or to star gaze through the skylights over the bed. Absolute 10 out of 10 weekend and the staff are all so lovely. My partner and I were lucky enough to get "The Tiny Home" for a romantic weekend away, escaping the city and arriving in paradise. The Tiny Home was only meters away from the beautiful golden shore line. We had 100% privacy as our section was fenced with our own deck and outdoor bath tub. It's the little things that make the biggest difference and so many little things were thought of. The staff were super helpful and everyone around was so relaxed.not hard to see why! Hands down the best accommodation both my partner and myself have ever stayed. Already looking at our next trip! Thanks guys.:)

I didn't know there could be a place as fantastic as this on the route I had been doing from the south of the North Island to Tauranga.it has everything, from the best sunrises, the best hosts, exceptional cleanliness, impeccable bathrooms, a place to rest, being able to play ping pong while the sun goes down and then have a drink listening to the sea in its chilla out area. We were only going for one night and extended our stay.that says it all! Thank you for such a nice stay!

What a gem of a place. This beachfront camp ground is one of the best in NZ. Fantastic amenities (oceanside spa, sauna, huge covered outdoor lounge/rec space) and really cool accommodation options (cabins, villas and glamping set ups) all to the highest standard. The staff are like long-lost friends! We had a beachside villa - from our bed we watched the sun rise while enjoying a morning coffee - amazing.

The Zen Cabins are an absolute delight. Beachfront, well styled, and amazingly comfortable. I could almost live here.
Highly recommend for a long weekend, or even a night away to relax and unwind.

Such a stunning place, best view to watch the sunrise & sunset. Very clean & always tidy including toilets & shower & the staff are really nice, makes the place even more welcoming

Great little place but shame about the very poor wifi. If i had known that the wifi was so poor…. I don’t think i would have booked.

We stayed in one of the log cabins last night and loved it! Such a great location and clean facilities (especially the newly renovated women’s showers). Every person we spoke to was helpful and welcoming and we loved the coffee at the cafe. We will be back!

Lovely spot, on the beach front with good amenities. Not too big so feels laid back and friendly.offers a variety of accommodations. Has summertime treats - breakfast café, Mexican dining.on site. Enjoyed this getaway spot.

Worth every cent! Absolutely stunning place to stay. Our little pod was compact but comfortable and had everything we needed. The views on the ocean were incredible and the shared space by the ocean was cozy and everyone was so friendly!

We stayed in the tiny home and omg what a lovely experience, it was so clean, it had amazing quality items and the view was beautiful. I would stay again.

Fabulous stay in the Tiny House at Tatapouri Bay! The location was really special, the Tiny House our own gorgeous Heidi - home and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Super-rate it!
