Te Kuri Farm Walkway reviews
9A decent doc walk close to town with beautiful views over the town & farm animals to walk past. It’s worth running it too if that’s your cup of tea - solid amount of elevation.
Stunning walk through farmlands with views of the whole bay. THE ACCESS TO THIS TRACK IS FROM THE END OF THE SHELLEY ROAD, NOT DRYDEN STREET!:)
Decent hike. Took me 1.5 hours to complete it. Great view of the town from the top. Carry water.
Stunning views, Clearly marked walk ways, Newly updated stairways, Picknic table with beautiful views of Gizzy at the very top! Terrain is great, just grab good trail shoes. Definitely recommends this walk way to anyone loving the outdoors.
Very nice walk and I live the summit lookout know as Town Hill at 290 m! It gives you the views of the Gisborne plains and Poverty Bay! It is a heavenly place to have my late lunch there! I even saw 3 deers there!
It's an amazing farm. Owners are nice and let us feel free to walk there. The hike takes around 2h to go and come back and you can appreciate a beautiful view in the top.
It's a niceish walk - we went anticlockwise which I think makes it slightly more interesting - great views but I would imagine parts of it will be boggy if it's been raining. A large amount of the track has been reconstructed to form an accessway to a mobile tower. So not as picturesque as you might want. Track steps are pretty much gone in a number of locations which probably makes this walk a no no if it's been raining. Strange amount of tyres being 'stored' here.
It pretty looks like a huge construction area. But during your walk you will have an gorgeous view over Gisborne.
After a rain it was very, very muddy. So good hiking boots are recommended.
Easy walk. Great views. A fun 2 hr walk in the weekend when you feel like catching a bit of fresh air. The tracks are well marked and fairly easy navigating through the walkway.
