SAI Thai Eatery reviews
58They had lovely vegan options. Good for those who like their food spicy. They had great fun options for drinks. Including their own take on classic cocktails.
The food is wonderful… bursting with fresh and spicy flavours. The best chicken and cashew dish I’ve had. Beautiful friendly and polite service. Our meals for our large group came out quickly.
Food was fabulous. Service was attentive and charming. A quiet lunchtime in Napier but Sai was filling up as we left after an enjoyable lunch with friends.
We'll be back again soon.
Incredible Thai food! Tasty and very authentic. And a descent serving.
The service was super friendly and spot on too.
I can’t wait to be back.
Just remarkable. Incredible food and lovely lovely service. Will be trying to get back every few months for a delicious meal.
This place is amazing! Great customer service, beautiful tasty fresh food. Highly recommended! The best restaurant in Napier!
Delicious cuisine. Very accommodating with level of spiciness to suit customer. Tasteful decor and comfortable seating. Great customer service
Friendly staff but appalling service - constantly having to find staff to get any service. Tea was good, coffee was acceptable
Thoroughly enjoyed our night at Sai. All of the entrees and main dishes we had were fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Family run with personality and great Thai tastes. Have the Meang Kana entre and add at least a little chillie. Go from there. Also good range of drinks to match. Roti was still warm from being made in the restaurant Highly recommended.
I was hungry after my dinner. They didn't ask us if we wanted anything to drink off the drink menu.
Great food, great service, some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. Worth checking out
What a find! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was authentic and delicious. Highly recommended!
I only had a chance to try two dishes, the fried tofu and the pad thai. They were both exquisite.
I would especially recommend the tofu, the combination of the sauce they drizzle on top and the dipping sauce is perfection.
I was only visiting the area and wish I stayed longer so I could try more of their dishes!
Just a note, on a weekend evening when the restaurant is full, you might be waiting a while for your food. Worth the wait!
Delicious Thai food. Refined dishes and setting without being overpriced. Friendly and fast service. Highly recommend!
The food was really good, especially the cashew chicken. Atmosphere was nice, food came fast, and staff were friendly.
Service was good but not great. After eating the main we weren’t offered desert or drinks instead the table was cleared and we were just left sitting there.
Overall it’s worth the trip especially for that cashew chicken.
My husband & I eat here almost every week. The BEST Thai we have had outside of Thailand. So fragrant & fresh, the customer service is excellent too! We love this place, it's a real gem.
We ate tonight in this excellent restaurant in the heart of Napier. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was of the highest quality.
If only the " authentic" Thai restaurants in Auckland were this good!
Great Thai food, great atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The chicken and cashew nut dish was the highlight. The beef rib was good, but not mind-blowing. The only real let down was the lack of child friendly options.
Food was very delicious but service left room for improvement. Two diners, two dishes. First arrived 10 minutes before the other. Rice is complimentary here (nice!) but none was served to us until the second dish arrived & we had for the second time asked for some. It did look a little busy but the first dish was cold by the time rice arrived to eat it with, so left overall a little disappointed.
