A great little Thai Restaurant the best calamari I have had in a while. And tried there Duck for a main yummy

The Staff were fantastic very welcoming, The food out of this world delicious going again plus takeaway just as good. Enjoyment guaranteed.

The food was served very fast and the taste of the food was ok. The only thing the restaurant needs to improve their kitchen extractor fan. You can smell the food once you enter the restaurant otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Yum! Only Thai place I’ll go to in Wanganui cos it’s the best, and the cheapest. Lil added bonus. Everything is always great!

We love this restaurant, at our recent Golden wedding anniversary, they played a happy anniversary song and gifted us a lovely desert, chocolates and port.

WOW! Absolutely beautiful food, huge portions, delivered hot and fresh. The pad Thai is one of the best I've had and the satay sauce is something I will be ordering very regularly now:) thank you so much Thai villa! What a treat!

Got a take away from here based on reviews. Seemed like we stumbled onto a gem given there was a surprising 40 minute wait.

Got a Tom Yum and a Thai beef salad. Came back to our accommodation to disappointment.
Tom Yum soup was not spicy at all, seemed like it was laden with sweet chilli sauce.
The Thai beef salad. The menu says grilled beef - this looks like it's stewed/boiled at best? And raw brown/white onion? A decent amount of beef, but lacking much flavour.

Very generous tasty meals. Attentive friendly staff. Very popular. My husband ordered the honey duck and got a huge amount of crispy duck with vegetables, rice and cashews. Very impressed.

So tasty the way good Thai should be.
Try the stir fry satay chicken. Way better than the anemic things you get elsewhere.

Once again, excellent food, company and ambience at the Thai Villa has realized a great night out.

Thai Villa, always my favorite takeaway.
Tonight we ordered a couple takeaways and got home and a rice serving was missing.
I was rather peeved, as this has happened to me, too often from other takeaways.
I rang when I got home to complain.
Couldn't have had a more apologetic manager, such a lovely reaction.
We went back to get the forgotten order, and was pleasantly surprised to get some spring rolls and sauce as well as more apologies.
Thank you Thai Villa for being so apologetic and understanding.
A definition 5 star's for your food and service

Great service kept my stars at 4 rather than a 3.
A tad over priced in my opinion, venue is very cramped with minimal room to move once packed.
Food was tasty and well presented without a massive wait.

We had an amazing dinner with Thai Villa. Staff were so attentive, professional and friendly. I recommend the Salmon dish so good

Excellent food, great atmosphere! Great consistency with the food no matter which day you go. Some of the best spring rolls I have ever had! Will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.

Great service and food. No long waits, considering the restaurant was full. Efficient with orders, and delivery of food. Would go again. And price is average to good. Variety including non thai, and desserts.

I have visited a lot of Thai restaurants in my life, and I can confidently say that Thai Villa Wanganui is the BEST in the whole of New Zealand
I always get my meals takeaway, and they always come in clean packaging, the food is always hot, fresh, delicious and they make it super fast.

I will never go anywhere else, 100% recommend!
