The Woolshed Cafe reviews
66Great night for the Local Lions Presidents Dinner. A night of laughter and connections. Great food and hospitality.
We drove past this place at midday one day and the carpark was full. We stopped in on our way home for breakfast. Well worth the visit. Great venue and good food.
Great place and atmosphere. Food is not amazing. Got served an oval shaped bit reconstituted of bacon today on french toast. Ruined my morning. I wouldve gone to the supermarket if i knew it was going to be that bad. Definately cutting costs on the bacon.
Great service and delicious food, our large group's preordered meals and drinks arrived promptly.
Great food and nice mood in the Woolshed. Place for animals outside. I had the kiwi breakfast and it was delicious.
Went for Mothers day, fast and friendly service, food for all tastes and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I've always wanted to go to this cafe otw past but never have. It has a gift store indoor where you can purchase small items from which is a nice touch. Outdoor and indoor seating. Cute doll's house for smaller children. Menu wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. Friendly staff. Decor is perhaps a little dated but I suppose that's part of it's charm. Would recommend for a state highway stop off for a snack.
Sometimes it's 'hit & miss' there. I go there often and the food on this occasion, was just 'ok'. Service is always quick, which is great.
Great atmosphere and service. Excellent area for kids and outdoor eating. Only thing we disliked was the food. Can't speak for everything, but the corn fritters were edible but not enjoyable. Could tell they weren't fresh based on the rubberyness and dry corn kernels. Hubby had a burger and he found the buns were stale but otherwise burger was fine. Pricing was good.
Just stopped for lunch and it was delicious, we ordered chicken filo wrap and carrot and cashew salad. I asked for 2 plates and my goodness - they cut the chicken wrap in half and put it on 2 plates with a salad garnish and divided the carrot salad into 2 dishes as well. Very impressed. The girls serving were cheerful and pleasant and the coffee was really good too. We'll never drive past The Wool Shed again. 5 stars
Heaps of parking, a lovely space inside, plus extra room outdoors as well. Good cabinet food, with some Gluten free options. Good service.
Worth a stop. Food is a touch expensive. Very good slices and good coffee in a pleasant pretty space.
Even though it was SO busy yesterday, there was still room inside (and out). The main points of our positive experience having lunch there are
1. Smiles & polite staff
2. VERY nice coffee
3. Yummy food which was delivered to us quickly & was nice and hot
4. A lovely atmosphere to dine in and plenty of parking
Well done team)
What a lovely warm and friendly place to choose for a catch up with our niece. Food delicious and coffee superb. Highly recommend. Sorry we held you up a bit but certainly appreciated you allowing us to stay and no rushing us out the door.
Took friends for brunch today. They were very impressed so I think they will be back. Food was the usual high quality and the coffee fine. Worth the 50km return trip any day of the week.
Nice food and outdoor selection. Love the interior barn feeling and the space. Recommended stop on a road trip. Good play activities for kids.
Coffee is great but a bit smaller than expected. Food was great but not exceptional. Great place, atmosphere and people. A bit far away but a great stop if you're on the way.
Went for late lunch today up to the woodshed, arrived at 2.20pm and finally got acknowledged by staff at 2.24pm to be told that there was only cabinet food available as the kitchen was closed at 2.30pm. Would gave understood if it had been after 2.30pm but it was not
. Very disappointed And got served elsewhere in Sanson.
Nice cafe, with a few selections in desserts and food. Good spot to make a stop while driving the state highway and they have a small shop with different works from artists.
