Ok. One of the inspectors was arrogant and rude. Complied anyway but there was no reason for the attitude.

Arrived early, queued for 40 minutes. When it opened was told they were only doing pre booked commercial vehicles. Wish they had put up a decent sign.

Thay failed my car on lots things took it back the next day did nothing to it and got wof train ya staff vtnz show them how to press a button to open a boot please my god and the next time I see one of your staff trying to rip my door off ill talk to my lawyer and you will be replacing it. Never take your car there always use the one on jasper please people

First time i got wof of my car here. Receptionist lady so nice and good behaviour but mechanics are so rude, even i said to one guy who was dealing with me, bro why you are so rude and he said naa naa i put mask on my face that’s way it’s behind not any logic.they should polite and nice way talk with customers. Otherwise I would suggest go to Rangitikei VTNZ. I’m giving to you one star because i have to do, without this I can’t post it.

Very disappointing service, I had booked a practical drivers license test for this morning. I also booked annual leave and my driving instructors vehicle for the test. With one hours noticed I am informed by text that my test has been rescheduled. This is costing me hundreds of dollars, and will cost me hundreds more when I actually get to go ahead with the test. If I wasn''t able to make the time my test had been rescheduled for, I would be waiting THREE MONTHS. Very frustrating, inconvenient and a total let down. Why do you not have people on call available for cover!? I can't even get a hold of a manager to complain or demand better, I am just left on hold indefinitely.

If there was an alternative to go to I would never spend a cent with this organisation again.

Sincerely, a very disappointed and outraged customer, who is hundreds of dollars poorer thanks to your substandard organisation.

Have two lanes operating one for a recheck and the other for WOF.
My first and last experience at this place.

Took trailer there for a warrant - one of the staff undertaking the checks let his mate cut in front of me in the queue, I take issue with that and suprise suprise trailer fails a warrant. Not only that, I hear this hammering sound coming from inside the office, I go outside to find him hammering away at the braking mechanism with a small mallet saying it's locked on. Never had any problems, trailer tows easily out of the checking bay and sure enough back onto Tremaine Ave all works fine. Punitive and unprofessional - needless to say I'm not going back there again.

2.5 hours, common but crazy. Improve numbers of workers.

Set up for two examinations. Only one facility used at any one time. Staff appear to work well but only one facility is used at one time, hence waiting times are long. From my family two cars have been tested within the last week. On each occassion the time from arrival to finish has been more than two hours. Very, very lack of acceptable service.

Got there. Didn't realize things had changed. No friendly lady at the counter as usual. Two ladies waiting. One said you had to book. Try now, I got in straight away. I did. And I got in, too. Just surprised.

Good for getting a wof cause they do a recheck. Like the staff behind the desk to very helpful. However, i wouldn't recommend sitting your license here though AA is better.

Very friendly staff, but the wait time was long. Only had a recheck but still had to wait 90 mins. Some trucks and vans that came were seen before me even though they arrived 30 to 45 mins after I arrived

Good, responsible and strict examiners. Disorganized station staff and unhelpful at times. They need to be more forthcoming and accommodating and perhaps even provide services to individuals who cannot find anyone to drive with to get their vehicles to VTNZ branches.

Fast service, friendly reception staff. The technician didn't really say much, but I was advised to get an oil change rather than a top up.

Good thing is that you don't have to book in advance. Just go and queue, and if you are lucky then there might not be any queue at all.

However, it's about 30% more expensive compared to most other places. Also, they don't fix anything, just fails with a recheck (but it might be a good thing) compared to other auto-repair garages, who cost less but you might wonder if something was really needed to be fixed for passing the WOF.

Using their on line booking system I booked my campervan for WOF. I turned up at appointment time and staff waiting to do WOF.
No more waiting in line!

Very pleasant experience getting my WOF done here. Mechanics were very thorough and took the time to explain what still needed to be fixed. Receptionists need a little improvement on their customer service and communication skills. Other than that, will be coming back again next time I need a WOF
