Pelorus Bridge Cafe & Motorcamp reviews
65We often stopped here for a coffee and pie on our way home from Blenhiem or further south. Was well run and clean. What a shame its coming to an end purely because its so successful.
Awesome experience. Love this place. Will miss the friendly faces and great food and coffee. Sorry to see them leave.
Awesome staff, fabulous food and coffee. The staff make this place what it is. Road closures and Covid closures they’ve endured it all. Sad to hear DOC did not renew their lease as the owners have built this place up to what it is today. A regular for many years.
Walk was good but the cafe left a bad taste in the mouth. Unfriendly staff and their payment systems need upgrading. 2.8% surcharge for card AND they don't take Paywave. Suggest give this place a miss until they move forwards with the times.
Stopped in for a break between Blenheim and Nelson motorbike ride because the weather was just awful.
Ordered a cuppa tea and coffee as well as sweet treats to have while the weather cleared and we dried off. Have to say that the food and drink were very good. We weren't going to stop but I am glad we did. Beautiful location.
Beautiful spot. Doc campground reasonably cheap, toilets are immaculate. Staff friendly and attentive. *****
Beautiful campground in mature podocarp forest with the South Island's next swimming river. Oh, and the cafe is fab too!
Fabulous spot enroute to Nelson from Blenheim/Picton Ferry. Absolutely beautiful Date scones. New and very clean comfort stop facilities. Of course there are some of our beautiful Native Birds flitting about. Really good camping facilities there as well.
Awesome customer service and great hot chips! The camping area is amazing too, with many walks of different levels.
Cafe was excellent as always. Friendly service, nice location and fantastic food and coffee. Highly recommend!
Motor camp is really disappointing for a powered site. The sites are beautiful but the showers are minimal and there are no other facilities.
I want to give a low a rating so no one goes but these hidden gems need 5 stars, This place needs to be shared.
Impromptu stop and pleased we did.
Great little place with outstanding fresh, sweet and savoury, hot and cold scrumptious food.
Oh and the surroundings are beautiful too.
Went for a wee walk as we weren't prepared to venture into the Bush
Beautiful area coffee shop has great coffee and good food. Lots of interesting short walks. Swimming holes in the river.
Absolutely loved this place! Forget the powered sites…. Drive through to the non-powered sites and you will have found Nirvana! The most gorgeous setting in lush green surroundings with stunning trees, river and some great walks, catering for all fitness levels. Spacious clean kitchen with outdoor tables. Clean amenities. Highly recommend.
Love love LOVE
7TH TRIP in a row on our yearly friends qnd family reunion at pelorus
Tranquil peace of paradise stunning river and wonderful facilities built into the native surroundings that compliment nature
Great friendly and helpful staff as always, providing lovely service and food
Thankyou! See you for the crazy 8th return next year.wouldn't miss it
Very nice café with great selection of nice food and drinks and for me even better as they have Jack's Coffee
Such a huge slice of NZ roadside stop ins'/inns. The swimming is out of this world, the forest walks second to none. Love it here
Stayed on the powered site area and as for the non powered sites they have some of the most fantastic native bush you can see, also some fab bush walks and a great café.
