Mango Indian Restaurant Nelson

Always used to go more often a few years ago so chose lunch here today. A wise decision as it was really, really delicious. Five of us for my daughter's birthday. Very difficult to choose from so many tempting dishes on the main menu. We all had something different and tried each one. The food was freshly cooked and absolutely superb. Excellent service, couldn't wish for more. Can't wait to go again.

Customer service is amazing! Super friendly and polite. Food is also great, left us full and definitely feeling like we got the bang for our buck! Left a little note when booking that its our 2 year anniversary and they gave us a a cheesecake slice with some mango ice cream and it was delicious! Amazing place, DEFINITELY recommend and its not even expensive! 10000/10 if I could.

Lovely food and the same goes with service BUT, the thing that left me with the 1 star review is that once we had eaten, we paid and showed them our entertainment book and they said they didn’t accept it. It was a $20 off coupon. Unimpressive.

The best north Indian food we have eaten in NZ so far. Tikka masala, lamb and naan were all perfect! Even nasi goreng. We ended up ordering the next day too.

The food and staff at Mango were both so lovely. We particularly enjoyed the Mi Goreng with prawns and the cheesey garlic naan was. Thanks to the super friendly gal who made it such a nice experience.

Over the past few weeks my family and I have been to Mango twice. The food from this restaurant we all agreed was the most divine Indian food we have ever eaten. We would recommend it to everyone.

Good food and generous portion sizes. Mango lassi let the food/drink down unfortunately but everything else we ordered was well spiced and well cooked. The restaurant was quite empty which left a slightly quiet atmosphere but we'd definitely eat here again.

We had the Paneer Tikka Masala and it was excellent. Friendly service too. A good choice if you are seeking Indian food in Nelson.

At first I though they ran out of chicken and gave me broccoli but actually chicken hariyali tikka is just really green. 5 stars everything is awesome

My wife and I went to mango last night, my wife ordered pawn stir-fry. She thought the pawns were not the freshest so she didnt enjoy her meal.

They just served us a barn tandhuri chicken with no regret… unbelievable very disappointed for their poor quality service

Service was good. We were updated on how long the time left for food to be ready. But taking 2 stars away because food wasn't as good. Chilli chicken taste wasn't as good.

I had a delicious meal there, and the friendly owner was able to explain which meals were both gluten and dairy free.

Butter chicken was really good but the Paneer Tikka Masala tasted just like tomato paste, and the Cheese Garlic Naans were almost without cheese and I could barely taste the garlic.
Honestly, disappointed

This is my most recommended Indian restaurant in Nelson. With authentic taste And good service, this place has been my most visited restaurant. The staff is very fire my too. The duty manager Arun is welcoming and friendly and always smiling. Great place.
