Mango Indian Restaurant Nelson

Standard Indian, nothing special. Lamb saag was quite salty, shahi paneer was nice. Medium spice was pretty mild. Conclusion: not terrible, but overpriced for what it is - I won't go back.

Great feed. Order the Malaysian dishes and a chicken tika. Was sooo good. The family loved it. Did the walk of the street and this place was modestly priced compared to others. The quality of the food and portion sizes for our takeaway order was very very good. We’ll be back next time we visit Nelson. Thanks team

Wow. Just got the Butter chicken from them and it's AMAZING.the sause is so smooth.chicken is done just right. The Naan is really dam good. Nice thing is you can do a online order if you don't wana wait.pop in pop out. Nice thing it's just round the corner from my work.so definitely going back AGAIN. GREAT JOB TEAM.see you again soon.

These guys deserve more attention! The indo-chinese tandoori chicken fried rice is packed with a ton of authentic flavors and Chinese street style wok hei in the dish was delicious. A great fusion of flavours and a must try if you are in Nelson.

I had butter chicken lunch meal while I was in Nelson for work. It was nice meal and taste was really good.
But Second day I ordered for kadai chicken with garlic Naan for dinner. Naan was good, But kadai chicken disappointed me. I love kadai chicken and I know what's the real kadai chicken and how it's looks and how it's taste.
**I never seen any where in restaurants used boiled chicken for kadai chicken but there was
**Cooked in lots of tomato juice giving it bitter taste.
**Please make it better just look around how the others cook. **

Always great. Good to have choice of Indian or Malaysian. I have been coming here for years and never been disappointed.

Amazing food & service for yummy lunch this week. They were even kind enough to give me the lunch special when I was slightly short on cash!

Great curry house in Nelson wide range of options on the menu including Malaysian dishes. I had the Rada Lamb great flavour and nice to find a minced lamb dish. Friendly service and a reasonable price.

Really delicious high quality food. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food really was amazing. Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend!

Such delicious food we all loved it. Got the butter chicken and mango saffron chicken with two naans and was plenty to feed our family of 2 adults 2 children. Feel like more rice necessary per curry though. Great value and super yum

My wife and I shared Onion Bhaji, Mango saffron chicken and Chicken Mee Goreng. Both mains were delicious and the Bhaji was the best I've had!

They selling some thing that doesn't taste like Indian food. Chicken qorma tasted like a sweet dish.tandoori chicken was full with artificial colours.

Great curry, but the practice of prominently displaying the takeaway menu (only) at the entrance, with its lower prices, is misleading and surely deliberately so. If memory serves, I had the same surprise a couple of years ago on my last visit. But the food definitely is good, and I can say this having tested four other Indian restaurants in Nelson.

Excellent food. Coming from England it's often hard to find a curry up to the standard you're used to, this was very good. Everything was cooked to order and the Paneer dish was extremely well cooked, not dry and rubbery like it is in most places. When asked to have our dishes hot they were also to a proper level of heat, not under done like most places. Highly recommend.

Absolutly amazing food! Fresh, flavorful, made with care and obviously a lot of love. Quick, efficient service. Would highly recommend.
