Yaza! Cafe Bar & Venue reviews
52Love the art, but we had iced coffee, iced mocha and iced chocolate, didn't have enough flavour, just tasted of milk and ice cream.
Is a nice place with friendly staff but we wait around 1 hour for the food and 1/2 for the coffee.
Awesome portion sizes. EPIC vibes. Top tier experience every time. Great couches. Never feel unwelcome or judged. Pricing is reasonable and there’s an option for everyone. Great interior design and love the community noticeboard moment.
If anything, could have a clearer or more concise menu and more vegan options.
An absolute classic and I’ll be back.
Food was delicious and so was the coffee.
Neat touch with the quotes hidden in the napkins. Great place if you're not hangry as food was very slow to come out.
Nice coffee, food and service. If you arrive 6 of you as we did, room is a bit limited, but we still enjoyed our lunch.
Yummy coffee, comfortable artsy vibes. Nice kind staff and just a nice lil cafe to catch up with a friend. Food looks yummy and there are a few vegetarian choices which is nice.
Great Indian restaurant, the garlic and cheese naan melts in the mouth. The scent of turmeric misting from the orange peel walls was a delight.
I like the homely atmosphere and the food choices available. This visit enjoyed seafood chowder and a read of the daily newspaper.
SATURDAY MORNING SECURITY BLANKIE, FAMOUS AND DELIC' CHEESE SCONES, I NOW PREFER DATE'N'ORANGE. EX COFFEE, FRIENDLY LOCAL STAFF. Sunny.
Great cofee and cake, very cozy place on a stormy day. Wish I could have stayed longer to sample more food.
Tasty wholesome food. The young lady that served us was very friendly and welcoming. Coffee was very good too
Funky city cafe with great cabinet food and a menu for those with a little more time to indulge in Yazas ambiance
Heavenly devine cabinet food, made fresh on site, to tempt your wayward taste buds into a journey of delight.
Ample sized portions for a reasonable price.
Very busy cafe in the heart of Nelson with great customer service. Delicious iced coffee and choice of cabinet food as well as orders for the chef. Soup is piping hot on a cold winters day and if you order the nachos make sure to share as definitely enough for two. Gluten free and vegan choices available. Pricing on a par with other similar establishments. Outdoor and indoor seating, very popular with city workers.
Best coffee I’ve ever had. Service was excellent and really friendly. Food was really delicious and of good quality. Would recommend.
Quirky place, great spot, fun staff. Yummy scones! Cayenne pepper in them i think? Gave them a nice bite.
Interesting looking cafe but the breakfast was not easy to eat, the focaccia bread didn't work with the rest of the meal and the fried potatoes were under cooked. Staff were quiet and did not greet or say good bye to patrons.
This is one of the go to cafes in Nelson. Great coffee and the cheese scones are well sought after. On this visit i did notice they were less spicy than i had remembered. Service is average. People just doing their job and it shows. Still worth a look.
Did my first "gig" here cosy place, has couches along with regular seating, good food, GREAT coffee I'll miss Yaza for sure it was one of my favourite places in Nelson
