Lygon Café reviews
51Awesome lunch here today. Had pork dumplings with a salad garnish. Very tasty with a little soy sauce
The staff are so lovely, the short order is well priced and delicious, coffee is wonderful one of me and my wife's favourite places in town.
Can tell the new owners have taken Lygon to the next level with great service, good food at reasonable prices, nice decor, clean and safe environment 10/10
So happy with this find. Broccoli and blue cheese soup, really well balanced flavours, not too rich and super moorish. Coffees done really well with a great choice of "milks" available. Excellent cafe.
Great coffee and delicious food. Great place to go and they are open Sundays so check out their opening hours!
Pretty disappointed in today's effort, poached eggs were hard, kumera rosti over cooked, showed management, didn't really care, won't be recommending
Been here for lunch a few times over the years but they've changed up the menu and it's fantastic, Korean chicken wings and an iced coffee. Awesome! Highly recommended
Paid 18dollars for possibly the worst eggs benny I've ever had. Hard eggs. 2 rashers of bacon on 2 thin slices of bread.that was it.hollandaise was the only thing good about it
Iced coffee heavenly, my partner would rate it 10 stars if he could. Quality of sausage rolls has dramatically deteriorated over the years, dry, crumbly pastry and too much of it plus poor, tasteless filling. Change it Lygon people because it doesn't serve you or your customers to cut down on the quality of your pastries.
Good place to have a snack or lunch.
Unfortunately no hospitality here. Left after being totally ignored by the young girl at the counter!
We ordered the Big breakfast and the omelette. We were very impressed with the presentation and size of the meals. Would definitely come back here again if we ever visit Kerikeri again. Prices similar to some of the places we've had brekkie at in Auckland, but definitely much more appealing to the eye and the tummy.
OMG! We have just enjoyed the most beautiful seafood chowder meal, complete with accompanying cibatta and the cajun salad - oh my my! All the food here looks just so superb. Staff luvly, beautiful clean premises.thoroughly recommend!
Great service and amazing food. Best ginger slice I’ve ever had! Lovely warm spacious cafe and friendly staff.
Beautiful clean tidy, busy happy atmosphere, wonderful service absolutely delicious food we had variety and all was devine
We had the eggs benedict and an omelette. Both were really nice, the eggs benedict is probably one of the best I've had for a while - I think it was the yum hollandaise sauce (you could tell it was handmade and not from a bottle). Banana smoothie and coffee were also nice. The staff were super friendly and attentive.
Average eggs benedict breakfast for 2.altho salmon was small and burnt'ish, bacon and hollandaise was ok and the egg yolks were an extraordinary deep colour but excellently poached! The apple and feijoa smoothie was yummy.service by ladies was fantastic, thank u!
Welcome back Tracee and Trish really great. The best bacon and eggs breakfast in Keri Keri. Lunch is also a real treat as well and all the old favorites are back like Yoyos, Carrot Cake and all the other sweets as well the Gluten Free. Most of all the hospitality along with the happy faces everyone's so so friendly
Very friendly staff. Food tastes good and prices are alright although there is not heaps of food on the plate for a guy my size
Had lunch today there. Go there quite often. However had very small fish bites (3) and small chips $18. Which I thought a bit steep for what I got. Bit disappointed this time.
