Amazing tour, we got to see 4 kiwis it was just amazing. Staff is knowledgeable and very respectful. It is really enjoyable that the tours are small it feels like you can really catch all the information and get to see and picture the birds without feeling stressed or hurried during the time you are there. The tour that is in the runway is really easy to follow, and I would highly recommend it to older people, kids, or people with mobility problems. Thank you!

Wonderful campsite with great spots between the reeds - great protected bay with Hector dolphins, seals and yellow-eyed penguins - beautiful paths and great food are on top

Nice easy track with decent scenery. However the DOC makes it super hard to book. The Mackenzie Lake (which cut the route in half) is always booked. So you need to book Routeburn flat which is only 7 km from the start. Now you gave to walk 25 km on the second day -_-
