Beachhouse Restaurant

Amazing food and service at the Beachhouse! The team let us know the food might be a bit of wait as the place was full and they were short staffed. We had time constraints as two in our party had a flight in a few hours and were advised that the food may take about half an hour or more to get out, which was all good with us. The waitress said she would see what she could do to make sure our orders were out as soon as they could, as quite a few tables had been seated just before us. The waitress came back a few times to keep us updated on the wait times which was very kind of her! The food ended up coming out much sooner than expected and while there was a small hiccup with one of the drinks being forgotten, the team dealt with it really well and were genuinely apologetic. The meals were stunning and they really did the blue cod justice! Probably the best blue cod I've ever had, and the best service I've ever experienced. Our table of four were extremely satisfied with our experience and will be recommending the Beachhouse to everyone we know. Well done team and thanks again for topping off our awesome weekend

If you are in Riverton and want to eat somewhere, this is the spot…. One of the best Bene’s I’ve had, with super friendly staff…. Stunning views to enjoy while you are dining, highly recommend….

A stunning breakfast that would make us want to return to Riverton just to eat it again. Smoked salmon on a Kumara rosti with a hint of cumin, spinach just right and perfectly poached egg, ditto the hollandaise. Really lovely welcoming staff. Lucky locals to have this cafe on their doorstep. Highly recommended if you are visiting Riverton.

We had an incredible time here today.

Food was delicious, service was awesome, stunning scenery.
A must visit when in Aparima/Riverton.

Everything was perfect, except the coffee, may have been a one off. Fish, oysters and all their sides were amazing, highly recommend.

On Saturday the lady was awesome. The muffin and scones excellent and lovely and warm on a wind swept rainy day. Thank you

Could not fault - went with extended family and suited all ages. Great views & atmosphere. Customer service was very friendly, passionate & knowledgable. We ordered an array of basically everything as it all sounded delicious and it did not disappoint! Each dish had something special about it - art on a plate!

Lovely location and beach feel. No vegan options and I’m still reeling from the price tag of one slice of avocado and tomatoes on toast with no goats cheese to make it vegan. Then to be charged $4.50 for two mushrooms? ! You get more value from Queenstown waterfront restaurants, which says a lot.

Menu looks amazing. Location is beautiful. Staff are good. The people I ate with enjoyed their Neal's. I didnt ordered steak with truffle oil potatoe and a jus. The jus was a gravy and there was no truffle oil in mashed potatoes steak was average.

Great service, great food and a great view. So worth a stop and very afordable.value for money.cannot wait to go there again

Fantastic place to eat a meal and enjoy a drink. Overlooking the ocean this place has a great vibe. The staff and owners were very friendly. So glad that we found this gem. Food was perfect and a good selection of drinks to compliment the meal. Dog friendly too. 10/10

The service was on point and the setting was great with beach views.
I had the seafood chowder, which was amaaaaazing! Our table of three finished every single piece of food on Our plate and thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Our dog also got a puppachino and a biscuit with our meal.
Would definitely recommend

Tracy & Scott have carved out a little slice of culinary heaven in a location that serves to naturally put one in the mood for delicious seafood. To that end, the Fish Tacos we’re SO GOOD that we HAD to order a second round before the equally tasty and clam-packed linguine took my taste buds away with the delicacy of white wine, garlic and clam flavours.

Rivertown is a bit out of the way for those who trek to Invercargill on business, THE BEACH HOUSE so makes it worth your while to do so!

What a wee treat being able to sit beach front, coffee in hand relaxing! I ordered the fish tacos and loaded fries - just deeeelish! Thankyou for the beautiful kai, friendly service with good banter I'll be back out again soon to fill my belly
