Brunel Peaks Cafe reviews
17Very cleaver use of recycled materials, an oasis at Fiordland Back Door with nice food:) *oh and you don't need to put sugar on top of a perfect Date Scone natural sweet is perfect.
Coffee and non-caffeine are outstanding. But the thing won our hearts is the service from FOH. The lady is so smiley, energetic and welcoming that she warmed us up in the winter evening. We had a real good time. This stop enlightened our trip. Thank you so much.
Beaut little cafe….
But bought the salmon quiche and chicken and bacon G/F wrap for breakfast which lead me to get food poisoning for the next 24hr. It hurt.
What a lovely Café! So worth the stop. Great atmosphere and yummy home baked goods. I had a rhubarb/apple muffin and enjoyed every single bite.
Great service and atmosphere. Fantastic location with amazing views. Been there only twice but food was consistently good. (So was the coffee)
We had a Motorhome rally there and the service and staff were superb. A great selection of cabinet food with chef's turning out full meals as well. Great selection of beer's and wine.
We recently held our work do out at Brunel Peaks café and WOW! What a cool spot, great scenery, excellent food and hospitality. Judith and the team did an amazing job for us. If you are looking for an amazing spot to eat in some beautiful country then this is for you. Thanks so much once again for your help with organizing this.
Great little cafe. Good coffee, lovely southland home baked food. Loved that some local farmers landed their helicopters in the field next door and came for a coffee: 0) Highly recommended.
Called in for coffee, ended up having brunch, the food selection is great, atmosphere is cozy, and staff are friendly. Seafood chowder was just the way it should be, thick with lots of Seafood, creamy and full of flavour, eggs bene was cooked as it should be, running yoke, fresh bread, nicely cooked bacon. The coffee was delicious. Will definitely stop again when passing. A great cafe with wonderful surroundings. Highly recommend stopping here if you are passing.
Perfect place to stop for a coffee or some lunch. You feel they put a lot a love in this place?
A lovely little family run cafe with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I had a chocolate milkshake, a flat white, and a bowel of fries.
I asked to have a very small amount of froth on my flat while, and the young lady who served us and made the coffee made nailed it! It was a nice flavoursome coffee, about a fingernail thick of foam, and a little tulip latte art.
The milkshake was so good it leaves you wanting more. And the freshly cooked chips were delicious!
Delayed greeting and puzzled by just about every table showing a reserved sign. Not a complaint, just an observation. Loved the coffee and food, a very pleasant visit in a beautiful location. We will return, well worth our 69km drive from home.
Lovely place for a stop. Coffee was great and the food looked really good, too, so I went for a muffin which was delicious.
A very nice place to get a meal and stay warm on a snowy day. The VCC folk were very welcomed and looked after. Keep it up
Just had a lovely lunch at Brunel Peaks Cafe. Thoroughly enjoyed our lovely meals and gr8 coffee. Very efficient friendly staff. Gr8 atmosphere.
Great little spot! We stopped for coffee and some breakfast and everything was really yummy. Definitely recommend!
