Great motel with friendly and helpful service from Gillian. The loan of the van on a wet night was fantastic for two hungry motorcyclists.

Amazing Motels. Jack was super accommodating and an all around good guy (all staff really). Rooms were clean, spacious and tidy. A perfect place to stay in Gore.

Great motel albeit a bit dated. Very friendly and helpful owner. Ideal studio room with cooking facilities. Good value for our one night passing through.

The hosts are unbelievably kind and accommodating. The room had everything we needed, and then some. Perfect location on the way to Dunedin, and convenient access to supermarkets. There's just no AC which may be a problem on very warm days, but not a problem once it cooled down in the evening.

Awesome accommodation, clean tidy comfortable, excellent value.
Very kind allowing us to use the van to get shopping for dinner, as we were on motor bikes and couldn't carry much.
Highly recommend, we will be back.

Lovely customer service with my late check in, room was easy to find, very inviting with the heat already on.
Quiet spacious room, with a very comfortable bed.
We always have large trailers on our vehicles and call ahead to check about parking, as they had said loads of room to park and turn.
Will definitely be back when we have to overnight in Gore.

The unit was very clean and warm plenty of space and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, if back down this way it would be the first on our list

What a cool little place. Value for money and lovely owners. We stopped there on New Year's eve after a week camping in the bush.
Really appreciated the laundry and the dishwasher and the 65" TV.

Very nice place, not the most modern but it's clean, and great value for money. I got the last room upstairs, 3 bedroom apartment for a great deal. The lady at the reception was most welcoming, super friendly. I won't hesitate to book here again. Thank you for your hospitality, much appreciated.

Very clean rooms. Rooms are better equipped than most. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about attractions in the area. Prices are very reasonable.

The motel manager was very courteous, honest and helpful. Very please with her customer service and delightful meeting her again. As for the room, it was very clean and tidy. Probably my concern was the toilet seat as it was wobbly and it could tilt wee bit if you move slightly. I believe it needs fixing otherwise it could result in health and safety issue. Other than that the place was peaceful and very serene. Its a good motel for a good rest after a day of hard work away from home. Good job.

Loved our stay at Esplanade Motels over the weekend. We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted by Gillian who gave us a great price for our family (1 Adult, 3 boys). We sorted payment and headed around to Unit 5.

Wow, we were so happy. The kids were beside themselves, with beds for all, it was first in first served for the best room and bed. We all found our places and thoroughly enjoyed the two televisions, the 'fire' effect heater, and the modern kitchen and bathroom.

Nice and warm overnight, and packed up fine early in the morning!

If you want a well priced, and modern motel in Gore, whether travelling solo or with family, Esplanade Motels is the place to go!

When we came back to the motel the curtains were pulled, and heaters were on. Always clean everyday. After a long day at work, all these small things were appreciated
