Hong Kong Restaurant

Greeted well by the lady and was seated it was around 12-40pm so lunchtime was busy but comfortably so, decor a little out there but I was there for the food so had the buffet $23 it was very nice however many of the buffet dishes were nearly empty but there was a good selection of deep fried and meat and chicken dishes also chicken and corn soup sooo good, noodles and fried rice also, I was satisfied with the quality of the dishes and didn’t seem to have MSG in them which was great, overall a pleasant experience and would return again

It's called a Hong Kong restaurant, but the chef is from Sichuan, so the Sichuan food is delicious.

I haven’t eaten Chinese food for many days since I’ve been traveling. Although her restaurant is a Hong Kong restaurant, the Sichuan cuisine is pretty good and delicious. If you want to eat Chinese food, you can try it.

Food is good, I just went there today! Its relatively OK atmosphere cause I think NZ has rare occurence to where a shop is always full all the time. Regardless of the repricussions, I enjoyed it.

Dont go there guys, youll be thank me later. Just a tip: avoid looking at the lady manager, your day will be ruined

Only issue not many of the staff spoke English. Very disappointing as NZ is a English speaking country

Really bad service and attitude! There’s an ugly old lady that always watching me when i take my food, it feels like i'm a thief.very uncomfortable.her face is really really unfriendly.

The food at this restaurant is actually pretty good, but there was one old lady who was very unfriendly. I bought some food to take away and asked for a spoon, but she said she didn't have any spoons. I just asked why there were no spoons, considering this is a restaurant. However, the lady just laughed at me and I found her behavior to be quite rude

Overall, I enjoyed the food, but the service was not great due to the unfriendly lady.

After reading the reviews we went for a meal walked down the dirty hallway and got greeted with flys. And the smell of the place made us turn around and find another restaurant

Authentic Chinese food, very friendly staff. Nice environment — a bit weird but nice to have grape vines over your head on the ceiling Reasonable price, good portion, we had the two person banquet and ended up taking food back to the hotel.

The food is great and the customer service even better! Tasty and traditional food! Amazing decoration and comfortable dining area!

Twice had this delivered home. Both times the food was awesome and large portions, plenty for two meals. My only recommendation is order noodles or rice with your main as the mains I had did not come with any.

Had takaways, the food was really nice and flavorsome, the pork is amazing!

We had some of the best Chinese food from here back in may when my wife was in labour and they even delivered to the hospital and were the most amazing people. Back down in Invercargill again today and we for sure are going to enjoy this for dinner now

Great food and excellent friendly service. We were really impressed with the new vegan menu and especially loved the dumplings. Will be back again soon!

Went here for mothers day buffet.

The food was average. Not something I would eat again as there was not enough in the buffet to scoop up from.

The space inside was decorated nicely but its very cramped table wise. I don't recommend it for people with claustrophobia.

Was disappointed that there was no fortune cookies when we paid at the end. The lady at the till was friendly but didn't come across professional and made us feel awkward.

Nice Chinese food, my home town favor.services is really good, the food and everything just feel like home. Travel from Wellington to Invercargill the food make my day! Highly recommended pork belly
