It's really deliciousㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It's not an exaggeration to say that it's the most delicious in Invercargill. The staff is also very kind. I think it's the best Korean food I've had in New Zealand.

Have been to Invito 3 other times and recommended this restaurant to others. Food has previously been good. Service is always lacking though and wait times are annoying.
Went back for bday dinner a couple of nights ago. Wanted a cocktail and meal to celebrate with my friend. They didn't have any pineapple juice but staff went and got some for us. They way the server spoke to us was quite rude. I said we would think about going elsewhere as the cocktail was part of the experience (and the service was subpar) and he said he would run down and get pineapple juice which he needed for it so we ended up staying.

Ordered 2 entree and 2 mains. OMG chicken and spring rolls. Chicken was a bit pink but I thought it could have been a marinade and was mostly just crucnchy batter. We ate it anyway. Spring rolls are not freshly made so very average.
Beef noodles were mushy (should be slightly chewy) and tasted metallic we didn't eat this dish but were still charged.
Chicken dish was good.

20mins after getting home my friend and I found ourselves moved into the bathroom vomiting and the runs. I have called the restaurant to give them an opportunity to remedy. They said they have never had this problem before and the spice on the chicken is very strong (it wasnt) and it was us that couldnt handle it. They said it can sometimes make people sick even in Korea. Wish we had known that.
Very bummed about experience. Will not be back.

I am an international student from Korea! After 7 months of arriving in New Zealand, I think I finally found a chicken restaurant that is most similar to Korean chicken! Arguably, this is the best place in the South Island for chicken taste!

This is a great place to eat with a really good atmosphere. Quiet background music that still enables people to chat to each other.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not gonna lie. This place is great! The staff remember you, The food is really good and I would really recommend their homemade sweet chili sauce with any of their wings.

I had made a reservation 2 days prior to visiting Invito through their website. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told that there was no reservation under our name. After showing the confirmation email, they reluctantly seated us at a table.

We had specifically requested a reservation for 6.30pm as we were with an infant and did not want to interfere with his nap time. Unfortunately, we were left waiting for 30 minutes without any service or even a highchair for the baby or some water. This was extremely disappointing, and we were left feeling frustrated and let down.

To add to our disappointment, the front of house manager, who appeared to be in charge, did not seem to care about our situation. Instead of apologizing or offering any assistance, he appeared to be uninterested and disengaged from the situation.

We have been loyal customers of Invito since the day they opened and even brought my mother, who was visiting New Zealand, to try the food that we raved about. However, due to the poor service and lack of care shown to us, we had to leave without even a drop of water. This was a huge letdown and we will not be returning to Invito in the future.

Overall, our experience at Invito was extremely disappointing, and we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a pleasant and attentive dining experience.

Absolutely beautiful meal, but the service was below the standard I would have expected for a place like this, we were shown to our table immediately on arrival but had a very long wait to have our orders for drinks and food to be taken

Fantastic food, it was also a relatively quiet night. The server seemed a little shy and a bit difficult to get service attention when something extra was required. Great prices and very filling.

We came here for dinner with my friends. The place was quiet so you can enjoy some privacy. Food was tasty and was served within 10-15 minutes.

Great atmosphere, the food was amazing and staff very accommodating when we needed more space than booked. Can't wait to go and try more food there. Everyone's meals looked delicious. Great portion sizes too.

The quality of the fried chicken is declining, the feathers are not handled properly…. Fried chicken with a chicken neck in it.

Can't recommend this great little restaurant enough. Very nice team working the tables. Food is amazing, very reasonable prices actually surprisingly so. Yummy food and a large variety. Nice warm and cosy particulary at this time of year August. Anyone visiting Invercargill and want a real affordable meal then this is the place. Tip: the full meals are quite large so we found if you order the half portion sizes you can get a variety of different meals and enjoy more of what is on offer at a great price. Deffinately don't miss this place to dine or takeaway if you wish, nothing is a problem.

First visit but not the last. Beautiful Korean Chicken. I was a pig and bought the chicken and Mare Cream. Lasted me 3 days. A BIG YUM. Only negative comment is that the hostess was far from friendly. Not what I expected. Another visit tonight. We will see what happens.

Nine of us went out for dinner and we were not disappointed.
Wait staff were competent and friendly.
Our orders arrive in a timely manner and the meals were cooked to perfection.
Highly recommend this great restaurant.

Our dinner at Invito was fantastic. The service and food was great. The fried chicken was outstanding.
It was also great to have a children's space, it made dining so easy (plus the kids meal was great).
