Special space. You can feel the steady persistent love here. Friendly owners and animals though Charlotte the dog will take a minute. Highly recommend a stay here to refresh yourself.

After several days of free camping this place was the 'ritz'! A fabulous place to refresh with wonderful hot showers and impeccable facilities. Stuart the owner was very kind and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Ps the friendly chickens were a delight along with the other animals:)

A great campsite. We stayed in the huts and loved it. We even stayed way longer than expected and already plan to go back soon. Can only highly recommend it. You can feed the alpacas with food from the reception. So don’t miss out!

1 night stay for a powered site for us. The place was so tidy and all facilities were extremely clean. Feed the animals before you head off in the morning. If ever back in the area will definitely visit again. Thanks for accommodating us. Cheers Michael

Beautiful campsite surrounded by green fields and animals. We loved feeding the alpacas! The showers are lovely and hot, kitchen well appointed and warm and good WiFi. Amazing stats at night!

Very unfriendly hosts. Not a nice atmosphere at all on the area. We were looking for an unpowered site for the night but were not welcomed as guests but intruders. Maybe they have something against foreigners. We left after a short conversation with the owners that was mostly "What do you want here? " from their side.
Probably a good place for elderly white couples with an affinity for nicely trimmed lawns. Or families with very quiet children who have no problem with having nothing to do there apart from looking at the animals.
FYI: We visited in February 2023

Very spacious. And there are farm animals which were a hit to our kids. Good kitchen and restroom area. (3 stoves and sinks). Laundry area with hair dryer were good too.

We stayed one night on a powered site on our way from Queenstown to Bluff and found this campsite via Rankers. Positively surprised by all the great reviews we decided to give it a try - 30 dollars for two adults with power … what could go wrong.

Nothing! From our arrival till the end it was a pleasure to calm down at this cosy campsite.

Wifi was included but only works properly when everyone else is sleeping. Hot showers are also included and are pretty okay (clean but the water temperature fluctuated here and there).

All in all, very fair prices and a decent campsite with a great view at night for all the stargazers.

I stayed there for a week and had a great time. The view is amazing and the whole campground is comfortable, tidy and peaceful. Free shower, wifi and many lovely animals. May go back someday.

Amazing place! Stayed for one night in March, I was coming late from Te Anau and we called them earlier, thankfully they were able to wait for us slightly past the check in time.

Upon arrival, we had some confusion with the payment. The man at the reception was very helpful in figuring out the issue & quickly rectified it.

Love the cleanliness of the space, the kitchen is spotless & toilet feels like home!

I love the roaming peacocks and chicken. They will come close to you & it’s amazing seeing the animals roaming around.

Lastly, campervan parking is spacious and very close walking distance to the kitchen

One of the best spots we have been to throughout the south island. Meet one of the owners, absolute top bloke. He went out of his way to help me fix something on our tent. Facilities are spotless, grass area was so nicely cut felt bad parking our ute on it.

I love this spot, have been here a few times over the years and the quality remains. Plenty of facilities, great price and also love all the animals around. Would recommend if you're looking to stay before or after a visit to Milford Sound!

We booked a powered campsite way in advance in anticipation for the new year holidays.

We somehow choose Mossburn Country Park for their distance to Milford Sound, and the reviews was pretty good.

The campsite was easy to find and after turning off from the main road, there was a gravel track leading to the campsite reception area, the check in was easy and fuss free, we were free to find our appropriate parking spot beside any power supply. We finally settled for a quieter corner near to the gravel pathway as we will be leaving very early next morning for the first cruise out to Milford Sound via Mitre Peak Cruises.

The shower and toilet facilities is well kept, hot water is not an issue, and we had a very quiet night rest without interruption of any sorts, no sandflies and mozzies was noticed and the grass on the camping ground was will manicured and watered, nice, soft and green.

There was a gentle breeze which kept the temperature cool and we were able to have our dinner just beside our campervan.

Spacing between other fellow campervan was well spaced out without feeling cramped.

The next morning was we were leaving, we were surprised that the camp manager opened the main gate in advance for us, knowing that we will be leaving at 4am, it might not be a lot, but this simple thoughtful gesture of remembering to open the gate for us, has left a excellent impression.

Keep up the good work, and we will be back again in time to come, as everyone says, sightseeing in NZ is never enough, even if you set aside 1month, it is still insufficient to soak in the beauty, culture, food and the people who made this trip very enjoyable and made a lasting memories for us.

Lovely small campground in the middle of nowhere. Loved the quietness and how peaceful everything was. We even came back two days later to stay another night. Showers and restrooms were a bit old, but clean though.

Feeding alpacas and goats makes this a truly rememberable site.

35$/camper for two persons powered and non-powered. Can highly recommend.

Amazing place. It has a home feel to it.
Lots of friendly animals (hens, alpacas), great flat places to pitch a tent.
Clean kitchen and bathrooms. BBQs and laundry as well.
WiFi is slow, but steady:)
Really liked it here, def would stay longer if I hadn't had plans.

We rented a cabin that was warm & cozy. The owner was so obliging he even cleaned out his garage behind cabin to put motorcycles in to stay dry. Facilities are regularly cleaned daily. The views are amazing as we sat outside at night watching stars & a satellite fly by. This place is nice & central to get to all major destinations. Will come back & stay in my tent.

A great base from which to explore the area close to Invercargill, Queenstown and Te Anau and Milford Sound for day trips, really clean toilet facilities with hot showers, great kitchen, free bbq use and comfy beds and the owner even let us park our motorcycles in his shed out of the rain. Great quiet big campsite will be coming back with the caravan next time. Make a stop you wont regret it.
