Muffin Break Invercargill reviews
32Such Great Service and the Staff are so lovely and we always pop in there when we are in Invercargill as we live 45 min s away. Coffee is always 100 % and I see they are busy and still look after there clients
Love the different variety of muffins and the size of the scones. Coffee is hot and spot on. Staff are friendly and even helped me register my loyalty card
It would be good to have tables that were easier to get wheelchairs at. However, the staff were lovely, my mum loved the parsnip and coconut soup, and my spinach and cheese muffin was delicious - it tasted like it was made with real ingredients, not just a premix.
Great staff, awesome range of flavors in muffins and coffee is always spot on. It's my go to place
Stood waiting while 2 staff members had a chat, went else where, where customers are valued.
Service slow, big breakfast sausages cold on the inside, toast hard and the poached eggs were hard boiled and poached, when approached the chef to ask for butter for the hard over toasted bread he laughed us off. No salt or pepper offered and the place was not even busy.
Fantastic, friendly and efficient service. So kind and interactive, the lovely lady asked about my business due to having my logo on my top…. She brightened our day! We were up at 3: 30am spray tanning for a competition and her manner towards me did not go unnoticed! Thank you for all the work you do AND the amazing coffee we got to lift us up for the next 8 hours of our day…
Service was slow ordered two muffins got one was not given change have rung them left a message no reply scon was oily
I recommend the big breakfast but ask for two butters for your toast. Definitely worth $20 for a good amount of feed. Take aways is awsome too. Served nicely just like you would get if you were to dine in & eat. Comes with salt & pepper, knife & fork, napkins & of course butter. Take your butter out of dish if you like to spread your butter on toast.
Very disappointing, service was slow, staff seemed over it, breakfast muffin was nuked to the point of being rubbery, no butter for blueberry muffin and that was rubbery too, we've been Muffin Break customers for years throughout NZ but this cafe has just lost our business
Absolutely delicious, will definitely be back next time we visit. Excellent customer service and spotless and clean
Very disappointed with kids meal took 45mins (Cafe was not busy) mine and my husband's came out after only 15mins. And then it was just plain toast on a plate with melted cheese. So should not have take that long. Staff did not appear to even be sorry about the wait
My husband and I stopped for a coffee and a slice, I always get a glass of water to have with my coffee. I totally understand with covid water no longer being available so I asked for a glass and was told, because of covid our policy is not to give out water but you can buy a bottle? My response to that was why do other cafe's in Invercargill give a glass of water when asked for, the response was oh it's our bosses policy?
Real shame.
Staff very nice but lunch we had wasn’t.
Muffins dry, bland and just no good sorry.
Spiced should mean spiced and nothing should be doughy.
Roast vegetables bowl ok but not worth the $7.50 price. No salt/pepper on tables, no marg or butter to accompany muffins.
$27 was wasted here.
Asked someone for some butter - never saw him again. Just disappointing all round and hard pushed to return for another go.
Sorry to the staff but please try the food for yourselves.
Beautiful Mocha, cheese scone just right. Apple cinnamon muffin gone before I had a chance to take a photo. Also lovely friendly staff. Recommended to stop here.
Great service with a smile and some awesome coffee.not to forget the amazing cheese cakes too! The best in town!
Can’t complain about the staff at all. They were great.
Place was clean and fresh and the service was fine.
Food a bit boring however. My wife and I both had the breakfast paninis and both of us found them a bit boring and tasteless. Needed some sort of sauce or something to ramp up the taste from just plain ham and cheese.
The coffee was good however.from me for this visit.
The girl on the counter and the drinks were both nice, but my baby started crying and needed fed. I made him a bottle and asked if they could please put it in the microwave for me. They refused for health & safety reasons, offering me a bowl of warm water to sit the bottle in. This would take 10+ minutes of him screaming, so I had to go home without finishing my drink.
Lemon and Thyme muffin had absolutely NO flavour
once you get past the icing. Plain and floury.yuk. Vanilla slice very nice
Great place for a cuppa and a bite to eat. I think the teething problems are pretty well sorted out so if you've been before and had a bad time I'd recommend trying it again
