Awesome friendly efficient service & great coffee & food. We were very impressed! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quick refreshment stop on way to Milford Sound:)

Sandfly Cafe is a favourite for us, for locals and visitors. Fabulous coffee and a divine chocolate Brownie. Excellent service from friendly and efficient staff. Lovely selection of outdoor tables shaded by trees and umbrellas. Conveniently sited across the road from the supermarket.

Came here for the breakfast, nice place. Coffee was very nice But! The breakfast wasn't that good. The eggs were over cooked and the bacon was overcooked and tuff to eat. No butter for toast only margarine Yuck. Never had that in a cafe for many years.

Stopped for a mocha and sweet treat. Delicious! We had an apple/cherry cake that was really good. The mocha was awesome! Loved the fast and friendly service. Both indoor and outdoor seating. And 8 am happy to say NO sand flys!

We tried three different cakes and they were all super good. The staff is also really friendly! Worth a stop in Te Anau

The food and service was excellent! The staff were patient, friendly and had great communication. The food & drink arrived quickly, despite being absolutely inundated with customers. Well done team

Typical service, fast, friendly, great food and heaps of parking away from busy town center yet very close to it. Very loud though for some one hard of hearing. "I'll be back"

Food was good with a wide selection for a cafe. Seating is a bit tight but there are tables outside. Some staff were really nice, others more interested in the local chat, but no one was bad. Was a good breakfast stop on the way towards Milford.

Breakfast. Eggs benny with bacon, served on sourdough with bacon. Long black. 2 days in a row. Beautiful. Wonderful friendly small town NZ service at its finest and great food/coffee!

What a cool place! Super friendly and welcoming team (I visited three times during my stay in Te Anau), with interesting fixtures decorating the interior. Coffee was great and the muffins delicious (and big!). Good value too considering the excellent quality. It was great to see the cafe busy each time I visited. I look forward to visiting again when I’m next in Te Anau.

5 stars for their coffee alone. The eggs were beautifully cooked, lovely staff, whole place was very welcoming. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Visited this cafe twice while in Te Anau and wish I was staying longer so I could sample more of their food. The coffee was excellent and the salmon Mini Roll was next level - perfection! Highly recommend

Have been here several times when we visit on holidays. Lovely wee cafe and always busy when we visit. Coffee is really delicious, we look forward to visiting each time we stay in Te Anau.

Outstanding setting and also staff service! The staff really know how to work it! Coffee and Croissant were so nice! Would highly recommend and we will be back for sure. Staff so friendly and made for our last day in Te Anau to start with a really positive experience!
