The Batch Cafe

We came today from Christchurch and looked on the internet for the best lunch cafes. We choose Batch and what an experience. Even in chch this cafe would become a destination. The coffee wS superb, the lemon cake beautifully decorated and a soft taste and not too sweet. The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Incredible service, amazing staff and a great place to eat enjoy the best coffee, and relax in a great culture and atmosphere.

Super busy but service was still great and the food was fantastic. The Vietnamese pancake was outstanding. Coffees were great too.

We went to the Batch on a very busy lunchtime but by the time we got to the front of the queue to order there were tables free. The staff were super friendly and the food good. My 6 year old was super happy with his pancakes. I would come here again.

Friendly service, great coffee and food but unfortunately it took 20 minutes to receive my order for takeaway coffee. Fortunately I wasn't in a hurry

One of the best experiences of customer service.in a busy place the staff member encouraged me to get my order sorted while she found a table and got it cleaned. Really appreciated it. As always good coffee and food.

Gluten free food fantastic, was a little disappointed with the coffee in that is was majority froth. I will try again

Food and coffee are good but it's too popular for its own good. There are other cafes of equal quality in Invercargill.

Great food, coffee and atmosphere. Walking there the surrounding area seemed very run down so it was unexpected as we got there. It was fantastic.

Popped in for brunch and it was great - I recommend. Very busy, nice poached eggs and too full to sample the CHEESE ROLLS unfortunately.

Very lovely staff, beautiful food from both the cabinet and the menu, with vege, dairy and gluten free options. Friendly, wonderful staff. Consistently good.

Atmosphere is nice but stay clear of the smashed avocado, tastes like wet bread since there was barely any avocado on it.

The americano coffee was phenomenal as well as the quinoa salad with ciabatta on the side.

Great staff with a good environment and fast service. Definitely recommend for lunch or a quick coffee. Thanks for having us!

Everything looks fantastic here from the food to the fit-out. I've only tried the coffee which lived up to expectations.
