The Olive Tree Cafe

Great coffee, nice range of food. Courtyard out the back so you can enjoy the sunshine out of the wind. Cheese scones 5 stars! This place is a little hidden but on the main street. Give it a try. Open from 8, so good for grabbing a bite before heading off for the day.

We ate here on the Saturday the food was so good we went back again the next day. Excellent value for money Sue and Andy UK. KENT

Chicken burger was absolutely wonderful. Beef burger was nice, but not in the same class as the chicken. Good chips.

The food was very good despite the short staff, the food arrived very quickly. All very rich.

I went for breakfast today and no surprise I recieved as usual a friendly, warm and polite service from the staff and I ordered "The Big Breakfast" and it was delicious!

Very simple cafe nested within the downtown. The coffee was ok and the service was great. The environment seemed not bright for me but can drop a visit if you get up early and want a breakfast.

We had a good sized group order brekkie and coffees all at the same time. Service was extremely fast and the food was great. Great little cafe, would do 'the thing' again. Clearly a very well run kitchen and organised staff.

Incredible food, wonderful and friendly staff, just got back into Te Anau and was famished after camping out on Milford rd, had the chicken burger and dumplings both were spot on and would highly recommend for those wanting a wholesome lunch whilst in the Fiordland region

Excellent value for money breakfast. The rest of the menu also looked inviting for larger meal and lunches.

Delicious food with fresh ingredients, bug portions and reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nice outdoor and indoor settings, there's even a cosy looking couch corner.
Also a decent selection of tasty looking cakes and sweets i'm yet to try.
Highly recommend the burgers and the dumplings!

Amazing coffee and breakfast. Hands down the best in town. Once we found it we kept going back. Also great prices considering quality and quantity.

Ate lunch and had blue cod fish and chips. Delicious! The coleslaw had sesame oil making it much better than ordinary coleslaw. Chips had seasoning on them and fish was tender and delicious. Best F&C so far! Returned for breakfast and it was delish! See pics.

Yummy food and well priced, considering the hike of prices elsewhere else in Te Ānau village.

Great service, friendly stuff, a bit hard to see from Main Street but it was worth looking for. Food is delicious and service is fast. A nice stop over between Queenstown to Milford Sound.
