The RESERVATION - Venue, Accommodation and LIMO Service

Lovely host. Separate 3- bdrm apartments with all mod cons (no stove). Share bathroom between 3 rooms but I had it to myself. Garden views. Very peaceful

Went for breakfast not really impressed. Food was cold for the price I would have expected better quality. Could have done a better job at home

What a fantastic place the views are surreal and great breakfast served by amazing hosts Jayne and Bruce always something to look, especially classic cars at the monthly breakfast 10/10 food was hot and great selection including hot and cold drinks. You guys are fabulous hosts and nothing is ever an issue u aim to please every single time. So thank you so much for what you do

This is beautiful accommodation and nothing is a problem for the hosts not that everything is catered for. They also do a classic car breakfast once a month which is great to attend.

We stayed at The Reservation recently on our trip through the South Island and it became a highlight of our trip! The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a gorgeous view and farm animals penned nearby. The interior is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host Jayne was friendly, hard working, and accommodating! Breakfast was delicious! For any other celiac gluten free people out there - the host knows how to gluten free for Celiac and even has her own GF toaster! AMAZING!

We highly recommend staying at The Reservation. We loved that place and hope to go back someday.

We came here for the hotrod breakfast, this place is classy, clean, safe and gorgeous views while you're having a perfectly cooked breakie. The service was great, the hosts are freindly an very welcoming. Cant wait for our next visit already. Definately a lovely way to start your sunday. Thanks guys!

The Reservation was everything and more promised on their website. Our room and all amenities were cosy, clean and had a feel of luxury. The breakfast was delicious and came with the very knowledgeable, hardworking and entertaining hostess, Jayne. She was the perfect host and so was her beautiful property with farm animals and birds, well kept garden and walkways. We would highly recommend this location to all visitors to Gore.

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday and to our awesome hosts Bruce and Jayne. They have an amazing venue, bar, view of the country, function room and food. Their services and accommodation has really set the bar high! I had a fantastic time with my whanau. If there were more stars to give on this review I would. My kids really enjoyed the place, the animals, the list could go on, so much to say. Once again, The Reservation, Bruce and Jayne, nga mihi nui for everything. We highly recommend you and your venue!

We recently stayed overnight at the Reservation and straight away felt so welcome by Jayne and Bruce. Very quiet and very clean accommodation but most of all we enjoyed having breakfast with Jayne and Bruce the next morning - was lovely chatting away together. Its a real credit to them both how they have developed the property and all the best for your future plans ahead.

It was in a beautiful location.very well maintained. Our hosts were the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet. We stayed there for the summer and had such an amazing time. If you stay there, do ask for their home made multigrain bread.it is amazing. I miss them loads.

Such a beautiful place to stay. So tastefully decorated. Wonderful owners and nothing is to much trouble. Comfortable beds, perfect bathrooms lovely gardens. Would highly recommend.

Great hosts, fabulous accommodation and location, spotlessly clean, made to feel very welcome, great taxi service to dinner in the Limo, we definately will be back and highly recommend as a place not to miss when in Gore.

Beautiful scenery, wonderful animals, amazing kiwi surrounding view, magnificent room, fittings and deco. Very clean corridors and good collection of kiwi magazines. Instant hot and cold water facilities and clean dining area. I believe it's one of the best value for money bnb in Southland. Very welcoming and informative host that will tell you anything about Southland and about NZ animals. Good job and well done.

What a lovely setting, beautifully presented room and wonderfully warm and interesting hosts with lovely stories and such passion for life and what they do.
It was just so nice to visit and spend a night.
And the breakfast was amazing, a great start to our day.

Really nice place to stay, comfortable and the owners are so welcoming, would've been 5 stars but the breakfast was very basic, could done with some cooked eggs.

We had a very bad experience sleeping with the beep sound of alarm, breakfast time was until 9 am, me and my family reached there by 8.55 am, they didn’t even offer. They charged 30 dollars for every person including a toddler despite of such an disturbing sleep. The room was great but it was suffocating due to high temperature, we had to live the windows open on a winter night. Great location and a beautiful bird.

I'm reluctant to write this review out of fear there won't be vacancy next time I'm in Gore! Bruce and Jayne are wonderful and friendly hosts, I've never stayed in accommodation so accommodating, they provided a ride to the function we were attending and even a return ride much later in the night. The breakfast was outstanding and the rooms and bathrooms clean and modern.

I'm looking forward to returning to Gore and The Reservation in the future!
