Best cheese rolls I've had so far and the eggs bene was yummo and nice n hot.often I find eggs bene to be delivered warm. When in gore next will definitely return!

Friendly, fresh food and hot chocolate was amazing! Great stop on a triad trip- scones were the bomb amazing!

What a great experience we had…two days in a row. The staff were incredible and extremely accommodating. They made me porridge even though it wasn’t on the menu. The food was fantastic and we couldn’t recommend them more. A must do in Gore!

Coffee and french toast took forever and the coffee was far too bitter. Bacon was chewy and french toast definitely wasn't café quality. Not worth 23 dollars. Also very loud.

Really enjoyed our dining experience today. An intimate menu but with plenty of choice for the more hard to please diner. Soft drink was in a glass bottle which always tastes better. Nice to be able to watch your meal being prepared in an open kitchen. Service from the wait staff was impeccable and very quick even though they were busy at the time of our dine. 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend and dine again

This hotel is old and looks it. But very clean and tidy. Very disappointed their signs say the restaurant and bar are open whereas other than breakfast, they are not.
Not the first time I have stayed there and I would book again. But don't expect more than it is

Stopped in for brunch today. Omgoodness. Eggs Bene. Amazing.hot beautiful coffee and I know my coffee ️. Overly generous portions of everything.incl a slice of ginger crunch which would almost equate to 2 slices in some cafes I've visited. Service was prompt. Food delish /hot and beautifully presented. Very very friendly service. Nothing a problem. Will be going back. Absolutely recommend!

I go here regularly the food is always top knotch and the gentleman making the coffee now is wonderful I recommend to all.

Food quality good, but food came out backwards, coffee first, - 10 mins later the cake, then five minutes later the Eggs Bene. Quirky and not expected or really wanted, but coffee would have been stonecold if we kept it til the end.

Great place for a casual whanau lunch. Good menu choices which kept Miss 4 years to Great Gran happy. Great service. Only place open in Gore on Sunday.

Had a lovely lunch. Excellent food. Highly recommend. The slices were very good too. We tried the ginger, passion fruit and seed slices and loved them all. Also given an impromptu talk about the history of the building and were shown a collection of historical photos. Very interesting

My go to place for coffee and food. Both are delicious and the service is always friendly and welcoming.love this place.

28th March breakfast eggs
bacon, sausage, hash browns, baked beans toast fantastic cooked by the guy.
4th April same breakfast a total disaster cooked by a woman eggs like hockey pucks, bacon half burnt half raw, hash browns warm and soggy, and a cold cappuccino. If a guy is cooking order it a woman go elsewhere.
