5The final night on your guided Milford Track Hike is spent at Mitre Peak Lodge, a comfortable motel-style property with captivating views of Mitre's Peak and Milford Sound from the guest rooms. All of the Lodge rooms are twin-share with private ensuite including a bathtub - ideal for easing sore legs post-walk. Mitre Peak Lodge features a spacious dining room and lounge/bar area, the perfect spot to toast the end of your walk with new friends. A three-course dinner is enjoyed tonight, and the bar is open for a nightcap for those in the mood to celebrate.
What a spot to rest your legs after a truly wonderful hike. Best views of mitre peak, friendliest staff, good food. Add this to your bucket list or die wishing you had!
A fine lodge for the last stay of Milford hiking tour. There is not much to explore around, only the visitor's centers shop. But the view was quite stunning. When I was there, still no WiFi access.
Unfriendly staff, especially to information seekers. Also don’t encourage socialising.
Nice ending of the trip to sleep in a real bed and have a great final dinner with people you spent the whole time with the last days.
