Juliana's Restaurant at Auto Lodge reviews
32I was expecting good food instead they serve instant food bought at the local supermarket and sell it at a premium price.
The food was very nice and they are very helpful and friendly too. But it took an hour to get our meal
My family and i stayed at the motel for 2 nights so they had breakfast buffer. It was so yumm! We filled up on day 2 before going home. Definitely will be back
Food was highly priced but nothing special. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Incredibly strange dog sculpture there.
Very nice food great service friendly staff would go back as well cooked would of like main a little bit hotter on plate but over all delicious served beautifully
So far, this place has made the most delicious burger I have had in years. I recommend trying this beef burger full of fillings with a delicious radish kind of sauce. It was so filling. The price was okay and matched the food. Very worth it
Food was delicious and quickly brought out. Cocktails were phenomenal and strong. Try the kiwi kiss
Wait staff were very polite, well presented and attentive. Food was very, very slow to come out because of a function, would have been nice to know when we ordered. Food was very tasty, portion sizing between meals was different but very nice. Would have been a 4 but the big yellow dog/man with its donger hanging out was inappropriate for a family restaurant.
Wow, what a great atmosphere. Dinner here was amazing. Service was brilliant, had the best steak I've had in a long time. The waitresses were so warm and friendly. Meals arrived at the same time and REALLY quick. All in all great experience and we will definitely be back next year.
Good food but menu could have more options. Steak was perfect. Ample parking. All in all a nice evening meal.
We went on 9th July for a birthday celebration. As regular diners here it was extremely disappointing. The service was rubbish. We were seated and then ignored. It took over 30 mins to order drinks and we had to stop a waitress to get them. The we had to ask to order our meal. And got a sarcastic comment from the waitress about them be busy. And at this point they said they were short staffed. However people who came after us were served first. Then the steaks. Two were ordered as medium rare and came out well done. No one came to check if our meals were ok. Two meals were also forgotten. We put a written feedback form in and also spoke to the receptionist who assured us we would hear from someone. We haven’t. A very disappointing experience and no follow up
We dined here last night with a group of 12. The salt and pepper squid came out as squid rings and they forgot one of our groups entree completely. The mains were terrible. The chicken was over cooked and dry, two of the lamb mains had a piece of bone in them, the steaks were very fatty and chewy. A dessert was advertised as sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce but came out with chocolate sauce instead. We ordered drinks and took over an hour to come, Won’t dine or recommend eating here again.
Had a great meal, very reasonably priced. Clean and tidy rest rooms. The service was fantastic.
Very nice ambiance, the staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient although the place was full of diners. I'm afraid that the food let the place down, very ordinary. The 'Market' fish was a bit of steamed fish tossed on a plate with 2 bits of potato and a tiny square of pumpkin. Not a green vege in sight. The wine list had Luna pinot noir, a supermarket wine costing $19.99, here it was $60! Same veges with the brisket beef.which was very nice.
A bit disappointing over all
Excellent always.welcoming attentive staff, menu choice suits us, pleasant environment, space and comfort
So disappointed to add such a poor review. The meal was great - good potion size, well cooked and delicious. However the experience was ruined by poor service an attitude from staff. The gaps between service were extremely long and no effort was made to check in on the dining experience. Staff had to be approached 45 minutes after finishing the mains for the table to be cleared. After another 20 minute wait it again required us approaching staff for a desert menu. 25 minutes later and no one had been to take the order, again requiring us to approach staff. The restaurant was about half full so none of this can be attributed to being busy. So disappointing that the service detracted from great food.
Lovely atmosphere, plenty of room between tables so not crammed in. Staff wereovely and attentive. The food was beautiful. The brisket was so moist and melted in your mouth and the pork belly was cooked beautifully also. Portion sizes were decent. The toffee dessert was large and I couldn't finish. Was an enjoyable night and would go again.
Lovely visit to Juliana’s last week, the meal was superb, the service from all the staff especially Jenna was spot on, friendly and attentive to our requirements, loved the little candle she put into my husbands banana split for his birthday - such a personal and special touch. Thank you for making our evening special and we will be back.
Amazing, attentive & professional service from the waiter.
Excellent food, good wine selection topped with a great atmosphere.
Very thankful we chose this restuarant over the Xmas break.
Our first time there. Food was amazing and Charlotte was an awesome waitress recommending cocktails. My birthday made special by excellent service. Thank you. Tony Harris
