Thai Chef's Restaurant New Plymouth

Beautiful and flavourful food. All dishes came reasonably quick and very generous portion. Service was ok (one lady seems like she doesn’t want to be there)

Got told to wait when we wanted to order some takeaways, to the young girl stating "sorry I need to get some plates". No worries hope your plates was worth your customers!

Very friendly staff, meal prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good, freshly made food and amazing variety and can be customised to suit your taste, great atmosphere and very clean dining areas

Slow serving, i had to try hard to get attention to order the food but still took more than 20min to finally talk to someone
They really need more chefs and waiters cos it took about 45min to get the food
interestingly couple who came after us got their meal way before us? Not sure why that is.
Ladies who served us was nice but both waitress looked exhausted.

Wait is too long. Waited for an hour and a half at the minimum. Restaurant kept making food for the takeaways, ignoring multiple dine - in orders despite saying it'll just be another 10 minutes etc

Great food, well priced, clean, all in all a good fast lunch service. Would recommend for that quick lunch away from the office.

The best Thai food in town always satisfied staff are fabulous and friendly so if you want a fantastic Thai meal this is the place to go

Food was great, so was the service. However some of the patrons were a bit louder than usual. Didn't make for great atmosphere. In particular, two cackling hags on their 20s.

Not very clean. The meals came out in good time but weren't like what was described on the menu.

Friendly service. Heaters were on but was pretty chilly in the restaurant, needed a jacket! Food was fine, nothing special.

This would be one of the best places to go for a night time meal. The Staff are awesome.

Best thai in newplymouth I havent had a massama curry so authentic.super happy and cheap pricing and a lovely thai man on the till overall could not fault one thing.amazing

Delicious food! I had the thai red curry with beef and it was simply amazing the great flavours. Though the coconut rice i had with it was a bit too sweet for my pallet. But otherwise a great to go for good meal. Has a beautiful ambiance

A very nice restaurant, perfect for friends and family. The stuff here have always been very friendly and the energy is always good. The restraint offers both in-house dining and takeaways, the takeaways having always been superb. All in all a very nice experience with perfect food.

Closes quite unexpectedly early on Sunday in middle of Anniversary weekend

The service was very poor and the food took a really long time to get to the table. Had to wait an hour for the food. And when the food did come it was very underwhelming. The prices are way too high aswell especially for the quality that they are serving.

The best Thai food in town! YUM! Friendly service and meals are always served quickly. Coconut rice = THE BEST! A must visit if you are in town. Dine-in or take-away.

The worst restaurant experience in my life. The guy at reception was extremely unfriendly, he provided us the table next to where they store their items. We booked a table in advance and few other tables were empty but he refused to provide us any other table, citing those tables are booked. Anyway, we left the restaurant and went to another thai restaurant (Siam Thai Fusion) where staff was quite friendly. I noticed that the guy at reception was friendly with white folks though.

Definitely yummy food it was such a great experience in that place, when thing you need work out in it is time to serve the foods bit late.
