Eggsentric Cafe And Restaurant reviews
60Excellent coffee and tasty food that is nicely presented. All the ingredients are locally sourced and free range. There are not a lot of cafe options in the area and prices are what to expect in a seasonal location.
A unique cafe with rustic charm, a relaxed vibe and consistently great food. We love this place and a meal (at least one!) here is always a must whenever we are in Whitianga. Highly recommended.
A beautiful little place.
Their eggs benidict is delicious but the eggs were a bit over cooked. The waffles were also amazing, if anything a bit big but still tasty nonetheless.
Recommend Chai latte, cake, ice cream and moccha. That was what we had anyway and they were all delicious! Free wifi was also a plus.
Stopped in for lunch. Service was wonderful but the food.oh, the food. It was so good. I had a falafel salad filled with fresh veggies and falafel. My husband had the Man Bun, beef sandwich with waffle fries. Great lunch spot. Thanks!
It was closed at midday when we got there and we were so looking forward to a coffee after the walk over the hill from ferry landing.
Had eggs benedict with bacon. Bacon was great and very flavorful. Coffees tasty. Setting is nice with lots of art works around the cafe and garden. Nice setting at the sea.
Consistently exceptional. Food and experience right up with some of the best international restaurants around the world.
The most eggsentric restaurant I've ever been to. I would come back to new Zealand just to eat here
Friendly with laid back vibe. Great location, wonderful food and good service. Will definitely return
Super cake and coffee in this arty cafe. The orange and almond cake was satisfying and citrussy. The decoration includes many works of art. Particularly intriguing is the collage in the gents toilet cubicle. We'll worth a visit!
Character filled cafe with everything local and organic. Great food and wonderful organic whole full cream milk for the coffees.
Lovely food. Retro feel which is really cool. Great space out the back under the trees for kids and outdoor dining. Definitely recommend
Quite possibly the worst coffee I've ever had, very dark on the inside, outside is covered with spider webs.
Last food stop on your way to the Whitianga Ferry. The pricing is not tourist driven so well worth the money and the atmosphere is something magical. Very kid friendly.
Very tasty butter chicken and freshly made naan, generous portions, lovely staff! Good stop over for a nice bite after visiting the lost springs a few minutes away.
Very cozy family fun restaurant & store. Friendly & great, unique food. Fusion food! Great environment for the family & kids. There's a small playground at the back, swings & rope. All shaded under large cooling & breezy trees. You'll love it!
Had a really lovely evening last night great service, good food and wine and totally wonderful atmosphere, so relaxed! We love that.as usual! Thanks Sam, Aleisha and team
Just fantastic, the food, the people, the service, the wine, the atmosphere and.sheezus.have you had the cheesecake. Best in the world.
Will be back to work my way through the menu. Thank you!
