Very friendly from the moment we stepped inside. Didn't have a reservation but were mad to feel like we did. The wait staff were the best I've experienced in some time: knowledgeable, warm and kind, and excellent timing to take our order/check in vs leave us alone. Food was amazing: had the good old garlic bread to start, and didn't disappoint. Then we had the Lamb Shank and the Wagyu Beef Brisket. Both very very good, with the beef 'melting' in your mouth. Didn't have dessert, but a broad and delicious looking range. Would go again for sure.

Excellent food and drinks. Long Island iced tea cocktail was mixed and blended with chemical perfection. Excellent friendly and professional staff.

Good choice of lunch food at range of prices. Excellent service. Can always rely on Onyx for good meal. Wish they would bring back their lamb rack.

Great service and delicious food! Scallops were a perfect starter and the lamb rack, hoisin duck were both so good. Shame about the fabricated negative reviews from antivaxxers

Lovely food, great service. I just wonder why the salad was topped with salmon when we had fish as the main course.
Also I think there were too many different elements on my plate, it almost looked like someone emptied the fridge. I realize this is currently the fashion and every restaurant does it.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I haven't been to Onyx for some time. Went for a meal today and it is still as good as ever. Took my brother and his wife too, they loved the food

We enjoyed our delicious meals, warm hospitality &. Prompt service on a busy New Years Eve. Hubby & I shared the yummy chicken liver pate with tamarillo compote for an entree. The mains of Wagu beef, mash, beans & jus was very tender & the Chicken, prawns Thai green curry & rice was very tasty. The dessert menu looked inviting but we were well satisfied so will leave that treat for another visit.

Amazing place! Great service, awesome food (totally get the pizza bread with feta!) Clean, wheelchair accessible, efficient and kind. Family friendly.recommend booking as usually very busy. Parking out front if you're lucky but there's plenty of local parking. Plenty of GF options to choose from too! A+

Worst place to eat! The staff are rude, meals over priced, long wait times on the food and the food tasted stale.very disappointed will NEVER go back don't waste your money.

Choosing to only serve certain people is fine, they think they are doing the right thing. The attitude they show when someone politely tries to engage in conversation with them is disgusting. It also worth mentioning that choosing to do what they are doing is not actually law, it is just from a press conference. So if they make that decision they need to own it and not blame it on "law" when no such law exists. It is up to each individual business what they choose to do.

Staff were very unhelpful food took ages and was undercooked complaining doesn't help they just say sorry

I don’t support segregation, and these people are rude and arrogant about it. There is kindness and humble people but then there is just nasty and rude. Even in green light I will never support these people. Even if they offered takeaway service which many would of been happy with but these people are just nasty and rude and full of hatred.
