65Disappointed that ordered and paid for Eggs Benedict informed no Hollandaise Sauce. Staff not prepared to offer partial refund when effectively got bacon and eggs. $6 difference. Go figure. Company has not had the courtesy to reply to Facebook page messages since
Staff just really rude lovely place tho have had previous good experiences but my last visit just truelly disappointing
Very disappointed. Used to be our favorite, but not anymore.
Not very clean and food is overpriced.
No soap in the toilet.
An excellent lunch and coffee stop in Pirongia. Great service, but struggling to get enough staff. Well worth a visit, and all with the magnificent Mt Pirongia in the background.
Staff were really busy but were open about the wait time for food. We had the big breakfast and the potato & mushroom stack with a side of fries - yum!
Very average food, not busy but slow to plate and serve our lunch. Didn't live up to its rating on the internet for us.
This has always been a great place for a coffee break from driving, very good selection of food, cakes, drinks etc. Clean and tidy with lovely friendly staff.
The two loaves we each choose were really nice, warm with butter, perfect. Like most pkaces the flatwhite coffee's have too much froth but that can be forgiven as everything else was great. Also make nice banana thick shakes.
There was a total lack of cooked menu selection and what they had was ordinary. The front of house staff were polite but badly presented. They need uniforms and a couple of other things that need done which I am not going to mention here but I suggest looking in the mirror.
There was no hand towels in the toilet. I suggest getting a hand dryer then there would never be disappointment. The overall look of the place was drab. So, come on team, you have a good looking location. Pick things up and don't let anyone else give you a bad review again. I do care about these things
This is a nice coffee stop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It has a large parking area. Tourist buses stop here so factor that in in terms of wait times and seating space. The service was friendly and fast. The outdoor area is extensive but feels under utilised. Small kids playground or other shade seating could help.
Stopped here for a bite of lunch today and was disappointed. This business used to be great. We have much enjoyed stops here I the past. It is now just dirty. It smells dirty, floors and walls need a good scrub and cups and cutlery were dirty. Staff were unwelcoming and flat, no smiles or engagement. It's a pity because it used to be really good.
An awesome meal, lovely staff and very relaxing in the park like setting. My husband and i would come back anytime.
They have a 15% surcharge for public holidays, which I dont agree with. If you want to open and staff WANT to work, all good. If you dont want to open, don't. Stop stealing off the public. I went elsewhere.
A decent kid and dog friendly cafe with a lovely outdoor seating area with plenty of grass and tables sheltered by trees.
Cute place with a lovely outside space. Food was good with a nice range, and service was friendly.
We were staying nearby and were told to try the Persimmon Tree café.
It was the best breakfast we have had in a long time. Everything was spot on, service was great, friendly staff. Great coffee.
Highly recommended
All day breakfast was delicious, only a short wait despite being busy. Kids pancakes looked really special, good coffee.
Expensive food couldn't get a simple order of one sugar in a coffee put in two slack front of Cafe staff
Worst cafe experience in a long time. Staff extremely unsuited to hospitality. Waited until we ordered and paid before announcing a 30 minute wait (was actually 45 in the end) when only I table occupied.
Worst coffee ever.staff need training on milk frothing, not to mention delivery/ smiling and apologies for wait.
Only decent thing was that cabinet food looked nice. Thoroughly disappointed as this place came on recommendation.
Asked for Chi coffee. Was told they were closing soon. It was 40 mins before the close time on the door ordered 2 coffee and an ice coffee. Coffee only just warm
ICE COFFEE was just cold coffee with a few big locks of ice. No cream. Will ne ver go back.
