Persimmon Tree Cafe reviews
65This cafe is well situated with lovely grounds. One accepts that prices have risen over the past year but $14.00 for a pie!? I'm sorry but that's Exorbitant.
Exceptionally rude old man (looks like owner - try and smile and treat your customers better). Terrible service. 35min to get a coffee. Extremely expensive! Will NEVER stop here again.
I am very pleased to rate this café with five well deserved stars. I couldn't have said that when I went in last (about three years ago) as it wasn't as good as it is now. The food is sooo nice - lovely selection - and the coffee was delicious so you'll be seeing us again, no question
Mán, am rarely impressed with a breakfast but this was soo yum. Had the potato rosti & musroom, egs hollandaise stack perfection. Cofee was awesome. (Not strong, but thats how i like it). Place seems unassuming when you walk in, but the service is very friendly.and the food.well. I'll be back for sure. Place seems popular with travelers, has ample RV parking.
Close to our EV charging so stopped here for lunch. Limited food selection. Maybe next time things will be better after CoVid. Will things ever return to normal?
Slice was good. Coffee was either too strong, or burnt - it had a weird sour taste.
Overpriced
Great service, love the rv setup, the only problem was the coffee was cold turn up the temperature a bit
Haven't been there for a while, still has great food, good staff, fantastic grounds and Cafe.
Recommend it.
Beautiful kai and worth every dollar, delicious smoothie and awesome presentation and customer service. We will now be returning customers. Highly reccomend.
Outside seating only. Garden looks lovely. Bacon pie and salad ok. Carrot cake very sweet. Tea most acceptable.
Just fabulous, trip out if town, saw the GF reviews for here and just excellent food. Very tasty food, friendly staff nice atmosphere.
Great service, friendly staff and a very good selection of saviours, etc. The menu is very good. Good prices too
My son and I dined there today. Thoroughly enjoyed our Buttermilk Pancakes! Will be going back.
Wonderful staff so very helpful with GF and DF and lovely food, gr8 coffee.absolutely I will be back
How hard is it to put a decent pot of tea in front of a traveler or sprinkle cinnamon on the coffee as requested NOT cocoa powder? And we’re talking teabags.
Cake was nice. But tea was way below average.
Stopped by for the first and likely last time. Ordered 2 coffees that took over half an hour to arrive. Had to ask for previous patrons dishes to be removed after successive workers had ignored them for 20 plus minutes. Would have ordered food as well but eye watering prices combined with some of the stingiest sized portions I have ever seen stopped me. When the most expensive coffees I've ever ordered finally arrived, they were near cold. Premium prices for mediocre service and experience - disappointing.
Wanted to use the dump station but couldn’t, as there was a full time living person parked up beside it. Very high prices to stay at this location
What a lovely cafe to stop at! Coffee and iced chocolate were the best we have tasted and wedges with cheese and bacon took first place on our little game of rating them everywhere we go! Staff were very pleasant and friendly and it was perfect sitting at an outdoor table in the shade on what has been hottest day of the year. Would happily recommend as a great place to stop on your trip.
Very friendly staff, though as can be expected, food isn't anything too high quality. Though still a lovely place to rest on the side of the road.
