Taupo Indian Cuisine

Service was great, quick turnaround even on a busy night. Ordered butter chicken and garlic naan: the naan was very garlicky (which I like), the butter chicken was really sweet (even the “hot one”, which had a good spice profile).
Cost-performance-wise I’d say it was a good choice, but I have to warn people without a sweet-tooth about how sweet that butter chicken is

Garlic prawns were really amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed rumali roti with our goat curry. Drinks and food all were served in timely manner. Impressive.keep it up guys!

Exceptionally bad customer service, never got the food, They didn’t follow delivery description or deliver to the person who ordered, gave multiple different excuses why it hadn’t arrived. Finally found out it went to the house next door (our fault, in a holiday rental) that didn’t have a large white van or front light on. Business’s response was “it’s on you mate” not interested in supporting a business whose first and multiple responses are to lie, then refuses any accountability. Also not so impressed with people who accept and eat food that they didn’t order or pay for. Don’t know who is the most offensive.

Great taste and good service, have been almost regular here from a year now and never had bad experience. Food is always hot and perfectly cooked.

The best curry house ever! A gem in the suburbs. Butter chicken was perfect. Naan bread was light and yummy. Poppa's here great too, so tasty. We had the mushroom dish, since it was mentioned in an earlier review. It was sooo worth it. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered the Karahi Paneer for delivery, and it arrived early! The food was incredible, one of the best curries I’ve had in a while.
We ordered medium hot, and it was just on the boundary of “too hot” but it was absolutely delicious.
We would highly recommend this Indian restaurant.

We are local. We dine here at least twice a month. The food is authentic and taste really good, the combo meal is value for money! Staff are so polite.

Very very delicious! Best we have found in Nz. So far only tried the usual suspects.butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, which are both great. Looking forward to trying some of the dishes we don’t know.

Without a doubt the BEST Indian Food in Taupō. You can actually SEE the herbs and spices they use, its so full of flavour. The Naan is not too doughy, always has crispy edges, and a generous ammount of garlic YUM!

I found the staff very friendly. The meals are consistently delicious, affordable price for curry too. I reccomend and will continue to come back. Thank you very much!

Best Indian place it town and good value for money.
Also had an experience where I dropped my take away bag which popped our butter chicken container, they then gave me a new container and topped up the spilt butter chicken! Great service and definitely an underrated restaurant

The most amazing food.step away from your butter chicken and Korma and try the Indian breakfast with the best ever Dosa and Panipuri and momos you will never go anywhere else.great host and chefs definitely will be back a real go to for all foodies.

Hands down the best tasting Indian restaurant food in Taupo. I have been to every Indian restaurant in Taupo and the quality of there dishes are way beyond everyone else. If your after amazing takeout indian then you have found the place. It's literally a night and day difference.

After trying most of the Indian restaurants in Taupo we finally discovered this gem. Definitely the best Indian food around, and great value!

What a great restaurant! Fantastic food, lovely staff, great vibe in the restaurant, and well priced. Awesome wine and beer selection too. We'll definitely be going again!
