The Dam Cafe reviews
58 Great place to stop for a break.large pull-a-side section of road with tons of parking for even the larger vehicles.
Fantastic food - prepared fresh and hot or tasty and ready from the cabinet.
Thank you guys for great food and relaxation.
It's in the middle of nowhere, and you might expect the food and so on to be mediocre. Not so! Tasty and ok priced
Great stop for a coffee and good food. Lots of motorcycles and nice cars on car club runs. Clean and nice.
Food is great, staff wonderful and worth a stop for lunch or just a break. Hurry before it's sold!
Stopped for a coffee and toasted sandwich. Coffee was beautifully made and toasted sandwich was delicious - great value would definitely stop in again.
Nice little cafe ideal for a quick bite for travelers, nothing fancy but nice food and good selection of drinks
Nice little stop on our road trip. Good coffee, sunny service and a yummy chocolate fudge slice
Very poor customer service. Quite rude in fact. Did not feel welcome at all. Left without ordering anything.
So glad we stopped here for lunch. Friendly staff, delicious sandwiches, rolls and drinks, plus unique gift ideas to buy. But my favourite detail was the art on the walls by 'Monique' - especially the one in the bathroom! They had a real warmth to them, I can't quite put my finger on. Great pit stop - thanks guys!
Nice staff, coffee and bacon and egg toasted sandwiches plus clean toilets in the middle of nowhere!
A favourite stop over for us travelling down the country. We never go past it. Delicious home made food, good selection from menu board and cabinet. All reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly, the service is quick and the customer only toilets are clean. Check out the crafts they sell also. My husband always finds something very different to buy. Last time we stopped he bought a crafted wood large chessboard with a slideout portion containing cheese knives etc. All crafts are also reasonably priced. We were sorry to see last week when we stopped that the owners are selling the business after 20yrs. We wish you well on your new adventure.
Lovely Cafe well worth stopping for a lovely cup of coffee and toasted sandwiches. Thank you Tory for serving us, you were so kind and helpful.
COVID check in and hand sanitizer but no working dryer or paper towels in the loos. Date scone was huge - enough for 2 people and very pleasant. It was reasonably busy when we stopped at 10.30am.
Popped in here for a hot drink. Lovely staff, lovely ambience, great coffee/hot chocolate/cuppa tea.
Perfect little Cafe in the middle of nowhere, good delicious food options for everyone including vegan options. Good coffee which is good for the tired traveler.
Very pleasant experience, excellent food, excellent coffee, excellent and friendly service. Very fairly priced. Thank you.
Great selection of fresh food and a good coffee. Nice place to catch your breath when out and about for a ride
Something about a quaint, roadside cafe on a country road. The food seems nice, coffee better and pleasant view makes you want to stay just that extra 5 minutes longer than you planned. The Dam is no different, best bacon and egg pie, and best iced coffee in.town? !
The roast beef and cheese panini, two tasty pieces of beef, and lots of tasty melted cheese, yummy, why does the food taste so good down here, quick service too
