The Olde Creamery Cafe reviews
64 We had a very nice lunch to celebrate our Mum’s 90th birthday. Really nice food, great service, relaxed atmosphere, and a lovely red velvet birthday cake!
Thanks for making it an extra special occasion.
The Olde Creamery is that type of place that seems to be out of a fairy tale. We discovered the place on our way to Rotorua, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The service is great, and the garden is fantastic to appreciate nature.
Great atmosphere, yum food and the staff was so lovely kids also loved the outside lawn games
What lovely caring staff run this beautiful spot. So many beautiful spaces to sit depending on the weather. If you like old china, this is the place for you. A gift shop with a range of items that fit with the theme. A very ample serving of tea and scones. Scone was cooked and presented in a clay pot and looked amazing.
A hidden gem! Loved the high tea experience, lovely food and the setting was gorgeous. Service fantastic, staff were excellent. Will definitely return:)
Hated it. Went for Mother’s Day lunch got there and they had no food left on the menu they had run out. Even though we had booked a table. Didn’t bother to tell us. Expensive as hell for what we had which was basically a little board with hardly any fruit and cheese and meat and still charged full price for it. Menu doesn’t have much on it that’s affordable at all. Only good thing was the staff are friendly. Very disappointed and angry that I was charged over $70 for f all. Won’t recommend
The high tea has to be the worst I've ever had. The decor beautiful, the staff friendly but the food was bland, boring, minimal and frankly underwhelming. A cucumber sandwich on stale bread, no seasoning, processed ham sandwich. The local bakery does better. A savoury the size of a 50c coin, and a flovouless muffin that taste like it came from a packet and the scone was a dense dough that had so much salt it was uneatable. Would I recommend, absolutely not if you want tasty food for your $50 however if you want your instagram shot of a beautifully set table then go for it.
What a lovely surprise to find this lovely cafe. The décor is amazing, filled with collectibles and rural curios. Delightful staff and a thoroughly old school 'high tea' vibe.
We had dinner at the olde creamery Cafe each night after the Fieldays. Each night Chrissy cooked us a hot, hearty and delicious meal and a divine dessert, and these meals were served with love by her husband Geoff. Perfect after a long day. Chrissy and Geoff were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome in their place. The lamb shanks are highly recommended.
We always enjoy going out the Olde Creamery Cafe for lunch. We had a family group gathering there awhile ago as well. They put on a buffet for us, they really went the extra mile. Great work team.
Love this Cafe. Food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Little cookies for the kids are so cute and yummy
Beautiful venue. Lovely drive to get there. Have had wonderful food from there before. Unfortunately today the food was not as good as it has been previously. Great service, friendly staff. The kids menu items are just heat and eat pizzas and toppers you would get from the supermarket. That was a bit disheartening for the kids and me paying for it.
Terrific place. Amazing ambience and friendly service. The hot chocolate was probably the best I've had in some time! Definitely stop by if you are visiting Cambridge
What a beautiful place! We sat outside in the garden and had brunch. The food was lovely as was the coffee. The setting is olde word and the inside of the Cafe charming. Stunning gem tucked away in a beautiful garden. I will be back.
A wonderful lunch destination with Homestead and cottage garden. High teas their speciality, with tasty scones and slices, but don't overlook the menu which includes some great meals. I highly recommend the Lamb Shanks. Perfect venue for Mother's Day.
Had the toasted sandwich. Was meant to be triple decker which it wasn't, very sparse on ingredients
Very atmospheric lovely and friendly place - we had a cream tea in true English style with porcelains tea pot and cups and quality leaf teas
A friend and I went over foe a high tea. Everything set out beautifully. The staff were very helpful and friendly, food was yum.
Nice cafe tucked away in the country?
You can also come here dressed up, the place looks vintage and amazing
Great little venue, they know there way round Tea parties.and it makes a great wedding venue as i experience recently.
